Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for the position of Faculty position in Computer Science and
Engineering as advertised on your university website. I am currently working as
Associate Professor, School of Computer & Information Technology, Manipal
University Jaipur. I am extremely interested in obtaining a faculty position at IIIT
Hyderabad, where I can contribute to its focus on engineering education, continue
my research on different application areas of AI & Machine Leaning and lead
campus and professional service activities. My 14 years academic and 10 years’
research experience prepare me to be an effective researcher and instructor in your
university.
My PhD work was over the handwritten offline scripts recognition using AI
techniques, during my work I published 4 SCI and 1 SCOPUS paper.
In the recent years three copyrights have been granted to me and two patents are
also submitted out of these two patents applications one is already published by the
IPR India. In the continuation of my research journey I am currently working one
seed project over driver-less electric vehicle and two research projects are also
submitted to DST Delhi and SERB India. I am excited to share and continue to
explore the new research areas. Under my guidance two student teams have
registered their startups in Atal Incubation Centre Manipal University Jaipur.
In last two years I have organized two International conference, recently in Jan 2020
one conference ICICV2020 was organized here in Manipal University Jaipur, in
which I was the organizing chair.
To continuously enhance the skills, I have done number of courser certifications.
I found that my professional experience as an engineer provided me with a broad
view that is useful in assisting students with projects and assignments. These
experiences have built my confidence and an interest in teaching and I look forward
to the opportunity to not only teach existing courses, but also work to develop new
ones.
