OBJECTIVES 1. To provide an all season venue for values formation activity, training and job
induction programs, seminars, conference and public consultations for larger
number of participants.
2. To provide a facility that caters sports activities such as basketball and volleyball
during the sports festival of trainees and other cultural activities and graduations.
3. If it deem necessary it may provide a safe and temporary shelter for families
during times of man-made and natural disasters.

DESCRIPTION A covered court with a floor area of 10m X 15m and 9.10m height from the ground to
apex. A structure with steel trusses and steel columns that can cater a 100 persons in a
one-time activity.

The design intent is to provide a multifunctional facility that will accommodate the TESDA-
Zambales stakeholders for training related activities and functions’.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION

TESDA – Zambales Office with its Provincial Training Center located at Palanginan, Iba,
Zambales is aspiring and in progression of providing the provinces’ with skills and
knowledge in technical and vocational education. It also tasks to prepare its clients for
employment in different industries located at the Freeport Zone and others in abroad.
TESDA also prepares its trainees to become self-employed and eventually an
entrepreneur that will put up a small business in the province.

With this opportunity, TESDA – Zambales will now see its desired facility come into fruition.
The TESDA compound has its limited facility and land area and this project will maximize
its used. Likewise the assistance for funding by the Local Government considering that
TESDA have no capital outlay for such project will be of great help.

This project will have a great impact for training operations of TESDA for it will provide a
wider venue for other livelihood skills training, values formation programs, seminars,
conference and public consultations.
