PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. Activity Title : Teacher Education: Trends and Panacea


II. Date of Implementation : September 21, 2017, 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
III. Venue : M.T.V 401
IV. Participants : College of Teacher Education 3rd Year Students

V. Rationale

We have just been ushered to the third millennium. The future scenario holds
bright aspects as well as uncertainties. Today’s teachers are need to prepare adequately in
order to meet unforeseen challenges and tremendous demands in educational system.
Teachers will definitely occupy a center stage in producing the proper mold needed in our
school.
In order to appropriately situate the teachers preparation programs for the school
environment of the future, this seminar on Teacher Education: Trends and Panacea will
attempt to present some current trends in the hope that the educators who are the final
implementers of national educational goals will be guided accordingly for them to take
some actions for the expected demands and challenges of the 21st century education.

VI. Objectives

Participants of this activity are expected to:

A. Be aware of the changing movements in education;


B. Specifically cite current trends in educational system;
C. Formulate suggestions how to cope with the challenges and demands of the 21st century
education.

VII. Particulars

1. The announcements of the event must be done on September 19, 2017.


2. The communication letters to the students and invited guests must be disseminated at
least one week before the event.
3. The secretariat committee should prepare all the paper works including registration,
evaluation forms and the like at least three (3) days before the event.
4. The reservation of the venue and materials must be done at least one (1) week before the
event.
5. The promotional and documentation committee must remind the participants about their
participation in the event.

6. The program committee will call for the updates and meeting to further discuss concerns
on September 20, 2017.
7. Accomplishment report must be submitted to the head at least two (3) days after the
event.
