Ans: Good things: He defeated the mongols many times even though the mongols even
reached Delhi twice. He went southwards with his army between 1307 and 1311 and conquered
most parts of India except for the new parts.He gave people goods when he had cases of him
being plotted and assassinated during times of famine.
Bad things:He banned gambbling and large parties.He stopped marriages of nobles without
permission of Alauddin.He imposed heavy taxes on the people. He had spies everywhere to
check the nobles.
