Management is “The art of getting things done through the efforts of other people.”From my
experience, this is seen as designating assignments to team members to reach a larger goal. In
my agency, we recently broke down my unit into smaller more focus driven teams. The teams
focus on certain titles examples (CPS and Agency Attorneys) to name a few. We also focus
on rather they are new staff or staff getting promotions or other transactions. With this
breakdown, we are able to pay more attention to the important tasks each title may need to be
cleared to start working. Our director relies on supervisors who then rely on the subordinates
to get any task completed. Since this new process has been put in place we are able to reach
many goals very quickly. I believe the moral of it is that one person cannot do everything and
that management job is to build a team effort.

Dear Beamon,
True, tasks are easily done when broken down, and through supervision.

What lacks in your post is a reference of your post.

hello Stephen,

Yes, you are correct I did not cite nor reference the first line in my post. That is my error.
However, the remaining of the information in my post is all personal experience.

Hi Queenaisia
I liked your assignment because the example is a particle and so close to our life.
Your manager's strategy is just like mine on our website educational staff.
Best of luck

I completely agree. When the tasks are broken down into smaller groups it helps get things
done quicker and more efficiently without placing large work loads on employees that may
Overwork people or cause progress to move slowly.
