How does it benefits the community?

-There has been many projects that include CELSA electricity to transform the
urban aspect of many Colombian cities. Where taking the example of: Parques del
Rio, in Medellin. This project wanted to show how a city could reduce the pollution
of its mayor river. Thus, people can now join alongside the river bank in a nice park
where they can chat and have fun. The benefits of building this park have not also
affected positively speaking communities alongside Parques del Rio, but Medellin
as a whole. Here are the benefits:

Environmentally:

It seeks to harmonize the relationship between the River and its tributaries, fauna,
flora and other environmental components of the project.

Urban- Architecture:

It refers to the integration of urbanism with the public space, the landscaping of the
park and its connectivity, framed within the processes of urban renewal of the city.

How it is a Disruptive Idea?

Being part of such a large project, CELSA has proven how smaller companies can
potentially be part of large projects like Parques del Rio, the reason? Cheap and
sustainable illumination has attracted the attention of Medellin´s plan to renovate
the city. Furthermore, they successfully supply the necessity of the people in
Medellin for more recreative areas. All of this with without being part of a major
company, thus thinking disruptively about the needs of a city and taking action
about it.
