It is the intention of the Department of Student Life to provide and to identify opportunities for
students that result in increased learning, greater self-awareness and a clearer sense of
purpose.

Our passion is the improvement of the human condition through the expansion of a caring
community. (Campus Life: In Search of Community p. 47)

It is the vision of the Department of Student Life to create a systematic and strategic co-
curricular core that is nationally recognized by coordinating the annual identification and

Marketing Intern for Housing
Needs: The website is outdated and does not include the latest information that featured our
residence hall services and some events in the residence hall.

Solutions: I would like the website to be more interactive and to compare images of various
residence hall. In addition, I feel having a story contest to be featured on our website would
makes it more interactive, increase student engagement, and allow perspective students to
learn more about housing.

Future Recommendation:
• Create a Why Live on Campus? Portion
○ Convenience
○ Safety
○ All-Inclusive
○ New Events and Opportunities
• Youtube Video of Student on Why Live on Campus?

• Student Testimonial, Having a Stories page on the housing website

• Interactive Page where students can select information such as comparing residence
hall.
• Possible Events in the Residence Hall
• Students can subscribe to newsletter and other publications

Residence Hall and Living Learning Communities:

• Panorama View of each of the residence hall
