Lesson Delivery
Identify vocabulary and key terms that are important for students to know to understand the lesson:
Multiplication: to increase the number
7 Divide: separate into parts
Vocabulary/Key Whole number: a number without fractions
Terms
Equation: a statement that says two things are equal

8 Describe how you will adapt your lesson for the following learners:
Differentiated
 English Learners
Instruction
- Provide translation
- Use objects such as marbles to show the multiplication/division

 Special Needs
- One on one meetings where we go over the lesson
- Visual examples such as using marbles to show the multiplication/division
- Games based on the math lesson

 Accelerated (Gifted/Talented)
- More advanced equations
- Use scenarios in questions
9 Describe at least TWO different types of formal or informal assessments you will use during your
Assessments lesson to check for student learning:
1. I will use a website such as coolmath4kids.com to check for students understanding
on the material.
2. I will provide students with whiteboards and have them solve questions
independently, and then have them raise their whiteboards to determine who does
not understand.
10 Prior Knowledge, Context, and Motivation (How will you connect the beginning of the lesson
Lesson to what students already know and/or motivate them to learn about the topic?)
Delivery
In order to connect the beginning of the lesson to what students already know, I will ask them
about their multiplication and division skills.

Describe each step of the lesson

1. Go over lesson and teach students how to solve for the missing parts
2. Have students independently solve problems on whiteboards and show me
3. Have students do a review game online.
Teacher will… Students will…
1. Teacher will use a PowerPoint 1. Students will follow along while
presentation to teach students the learning and take notes on the
lesson presentation

2. Teacher will have students 2. Students will work on each problem

independently solve problems on the independently and then show the
whiteboards and then show to see teacher their answers
who needs more practice

3. Teacher will have students review 3. Students will go on their computers
and practice the lesson by going on and use coolmath4kids.com in order
