01. Check the drawing standard title box as per project standard
drawing sheet.
02. Check the layers, line type, line color, text type, text color of
the drawing as per Alstom work instructions.
03. Check design pressure and the metal temperature of the pipe
line.
04. Check the pipe routing and arrangement as per PPA, Boiler
GA & Structure GA.
05. Check the pipe support location and type as per stress
analysis report and feasibility as per structure arrangement.
06. Check the dimensions as per PPA.
07. Check the notes as per site requirement and fabrication
requirement.
08. Check the reference drawings.
09. Check the part no., material spec., qty. (BOM) as per layout
and pipe list.
10. Check the valve tag no., fittings arrangement as per P&ID and
valve list.
11. Check the Valves accessibility.
12. Check the fouling with piping or structure or equipment.
13. Check whether all the dimension are available from any
reference point.
14. Check and ensure that all the weld symbols along with the
details are given correctly.
15. If alloy steel lugs or plates are welded with carbon steel pipe,
check whether note has been given to preheat the joints to
150°C.
16. Check the ease of transportation, erection and provide site
welds accordingly.
17. Check sleeve / pad welded on pipe are made from tube
material.
18. Check the legend.
19. Check the drawing no. is as per drawing list.
20. Check the EL of pipe line as per PPA.
21. Ensure the pipe bending radius given satisfies fabrication
facility.
22. Ensure the total pipe length excludes the fittings and 3%
fabrication allowance is to be added.

23. Check whether all the fastener requirement are given.

24. Check whether the loose supply materials are identified in the
material list.
25. Check whether erection spare and contract spare (if any) for
the tubes are included.
26. Check the North direction of Boiler. And check the gas flow
direction
27. Check the applicable codes for relevant technical details.
28. Check the layout with PDMS model (extracted drawing).
