Air Academy scholarships (4) awarded annually to include transportation allowance. Additional information about
the EAA Air Academy can be found at www.AirAcademy.org.
- Must be ages 12 to 15.
- Participants must have received a Young Eagle flight (www.YoungEagles.org).
- Submit a written paper of no more than 500 words describing how this scholarship will help make the dream of
flight possible and impact your future (attach with dated application).

$1500 Flight Training awards (6) provided annually for Private, Recreation or Sport Pilot certificate.
- Must be ages 16 to 20 (must include signed parent authorization as required by law).
- Awarded to a participant who has received a Young Eagle flight and has completed the Sporty's Complete Flight
Training Course, part 1 and part 2, as required for certificate sought.
- Must have successfully passed Sporty's Complete Flight Training Course, part 1 and part 2, as required for
certificate sought with at least 70% accuracy.
- Submit a written paper of no more than 750 words describing how this scholarship will help make the dream of
flight possible and impact your future (attach with dated application).

$7500 Flight Training scholarship (1) awarded annually for Private, Recreation or Sport Pilot certificate.
- Must be ages 16 to 20 (must include signed parent authorization as required by law).
- Awarded to a participant who has received a Young Eagle flight and has completed the Sporty's Complete Flight
Training Course, part 1 and part 2, as required for certificate sought.
- Must have passed FAA written test for appropriate certificate.
- Submit a written paper of no more than 1,000 words describing how this scholarship will help make the dream of
flight possible and impact your future (attach with dated application).
- Submit two (2) supportive written recommendations from a family member, mentor, teacher, or employer that
has known you for at least one (1) year and their contact information.

$1000 to $4500 scholarships (1-3) awarded annually for pursuit of technical or college level aviation education.
- Must be ages 17 to 24 (must include signed parent authorization as required by law).
- Submit a written paper of no more than 1,000 words describing how this scholarship will help impact my future
in aviation (attach with dated application).
