Dear Residents:

We have learned of false rumors circulating social media regarding an alleged serial rapist supposedly
living at or committing crimes at Redpoint Wilmington. The person identified in some social media posts
has never lived at Redpoint Wilmington. No such incidents have been reported to us as having occurred
in our community, nor are Wilmington Police aware of any such incidents.

Please know the safety and security of our residents are always our highest priorities. We will not
tolerate any conduct that threatens the safety and well-being of our community. We have been
working closely with Wilmington Police to investigate these claims, which are very concerning.

Although it appears the rumors referenced above are false, we still take this issue very seriously. We
cooperate fully with law enforcement and will take legal action, up to termination of Housing
Agreements and criminal prosecution, against any resident or guest found to be involved in any criminal
activity or other incident affecting the safety or security of our residents and our community. Please
remember, that if a guest is found to be involved in any criminal activity or incident that affects the
safety and security of our community, we will bar the guest from returning and may also pursue the
termination of the host’s Housing Agreement.
