Course This course includes the exploration of inductive and deductive reasoning through the study of traditional relationships from
Description Euclidean Geometry including points, lines, planes, triangles, polygons, circles, and areas.

At the end of the semester, the students should be able to:

1. Recall the basic elements of geometry, including how to use inductive reasoning, how to measure segments and angles, how to
bisect a segment or angle, and the relationships among special pairs of angles.
2. Solve problems by recognizing, analyzing, and writing logical arguments.
3. Investigate the relationships between lines and angles on a plane and in space.
4. Investigate the properties of bisectors, medians, altitudes, and mid-segments of a triangle and how those properties relate to
Course triangles.
Objectives 5. Classify and prove triangles congruent given information about their sides and angles.
6. Classify and prove similar triangles given information about their sides and angles.
7. Define quadrilaterals, their properties and will apply those properties to solve geometric problems.
8. Identify the properties of segments, angles, and arcs related to circles.
9. Classify and prove similar solids given information about their sides, surface area and volume.
10. Classify different transformations and solve related problems
