PROJECTS
Operational Excellence Program (Apr 2019 – Present)
Under going a 9-months training program in collbartion with the CII, Mumbai in order to get the wholistic
view of various functions of the Operations (Planning, Purchase, Logistics, Quality, Product development,
Manufacturing).

Zero defect - To achieve Zero defect product line through Shainin DOE (Sep 2018 – Mar-2019)
By using Shainin methodology we were able to achieve a defect free product from our process by reducing
the process varaiability by 10-fold and achieving Cpk >1.67 for more than 95% of the identified process
parameters.

Plant Establisment – To install and do commissioning of production lines (Nov 2017 – May 2018)
Setting up of new integrated form(SMT-PTH-Integration-Product testing-Packing) of production lines for
Energy meter (7 nos.) and Gas meter (1 no.)
Preparation and reviewing of production documents such as PFD, PFMEA, Control plan, Work instruction
and HIRA register etc.
Getting the MID and ISO certification for the production process and facility in order to start production.

Implementation of component traceability system from start to end in Product manufacturing


process (Apr 2015 – Sep 2015)
Component traceability system was implemented in Product manufacturing process along with cross-
functional team, where, supplier’s information was captured against each product serial number with
unique identification number on raw material or electronic components. The system was deployed from
receipt stage of raw material to final packing of product across all manufacturing plants.

Establishment of Production facility for Great Britain Smart Metering Project ( Apr’13 – Dec’14)
Introduction of the new product family of Energy meter, Electronic unit of Gas meter and In-home device.
Developing the test facility for the new product family, in coordincation with NPD and PPE team.
By using VSM, we were able to reduce the cycle time from 30sec/product to 27sec/product.
By working on the set-up related issues using the DMAIC approach we were able to achieve an FTY of
99% on all the set-up, leading to increase in the output by 5%.
