 Daily Routine Operations
 Sweeping, mopping, spot scrubbing and
polishing of all floors. Areas where heavy
traffic occurs, including the main lobby,
entrance ways, waiting areas, corridors,
classrooms, stairs and comfort rooms shall be
serviced continuously during hours of public use
to guarantee cleanliness.
 Cleaning, sanitizing of toilets and restrooms
with the use of effective disinfecting chemicals
on the washbasins, urinals and toilet bowls;
fogging of toilets and hallways with deodorants.
 Dusting, polishing and cleaning of all glass tops,
glass doors, glass partitions, inside windows,
window ledges, air vents, partition and brass
attachments which require daily attention.
 Emptying, cleaning of ashtrays and waste paper
containers, pick up butts from sand urns and
disposal of trash to the receptacles provided for
this purpose and cleaning the same.
 Sweeping of cobwebs and removing of finger
marks on walls and ceiling when necessary
 Sweeping of sidewalks, parking area and ground
maintenance
 Maintenance/watering of plants
 Checking of water faucets, water apparatus,
lights and electricity-run equipment windows
and doors. Report necessary repair works in
their work areas to the College authorized
representative immediately.
 Cleaning and dusting of tables, chairs, cabinets,
and other furniture/equipment. Re-arrange
classrooms desk and tables.
 Keeping free of obstructions of all
corridors/hallways, lobbies, entrance and
stairways.
 Switching off of all lights when not in use and
report areas where illumination is necessary.
 Perform other duties as maybe
required/assigned form time to time with respect
to janitorial sanitation and utility works.
 Removal of dried leaves; indoor plants and
outdoor tress and shrubs.
 Sweeping of landscape area, trimming of
grasses
 Attend to the need of the meeting as required.
 Weekly Periodic Operations
 Washing, scrubbing, waxing and polishing of all
floors and stairways.
 Washing of inside glass windows, partitions and
doors.
 Dusting of light fixtures suspended from the
ceiling venetian blinds and drapes.
