As a young and motivated individual, I am extremely excited in submitting my application for
the advertised position of emergency Logistics assistant within thy organisation.
In December 2015, I completed my BBA studies in Business Administration. This has given me
a range of practical capabilities that will meet the needs of this role.
While completing my BBA studies I worked as an intern with ORCA Cameroon, as a customer
assistant and lay-by assistant. My responsibilities in this role included providing face-to-face
customer service and assisting on the floor with stock movements and visual merchandising.
This position has given me key employability skills while also allowing me to experience
working a professional and fast-paced work environment.
with regards to my ability to meet this the specific requirements of this job:
• Customer service: worked for over four years in a face-to-face customer service
environment providing customers service at registers, lay-by counter and on retail floor.
• Client engagement: worked with clients and provided general support under direct
supervision of my Boss while following up key actions.
• Capacity building: voluntary placements with local NGO's have enable me build my
interpersonal relation skills through workshops and training programs that were been
organised in villages and communities across the country.
• General administration: My Bachelor's degree in Management has provided training in
the use of skills including filling, data processing, stock control and inventory and record
management.
In conclusion, I am familiar with multicultural working environment, and have a very good
command of English and French. Additionally, I can offer other skills such as the ability to work
under pressure, concise writing for different contexts, working in teams, and on my own
initiative.
