TOPIC: ASSESSING THE USE OF TIMBER IN MANUFACTURE OF WASTE WATER APPLIANCES

CHAP 0.INTRODUCTION

In human life, there are various needs to survive, among of them require having a freedom and
better health. Eating, drinking and hygienic those are basic human need to survive for cost
effective.
However, hygienic is mostly thing that are very important in our daily life, so that it is better to
take into consideration by providing healthy life as well as avoiding deaths caused by un
hygienic issues to Rwandan populations as well as a whole continent.
Therefore, avoiding the problems caused by unhygienic matter and provide cleanliness in all
kind of food processing in kitchen, as well body and clothes washing. we needs some waste
water appliances to collect and discharge waste water from building to the prepared place like
soak way pits or public sewer, those waste water appliances includes kitchen sink, wash hand
basin, bath tub.
CHAP I PROBLEM STATEMENT AND IT SCOPE
1. PROBLEM STATEMENT

In Rwanda and other African countries are under developed, hygiene is a very big problem to
take into account because, waste water appliance are one of the most need to have a full
services in building and in public places but they are manufactured and imported from aboard
for high cost, which may became limitation factor for those populations.
The Africa is a richness continent in different raw materials while their populations are not
interested to be familial with them to make the productivity and finding the solution in them,
so that a huge population are facing big challenge of unemployment.
Therefore, this research project will be conducting for finding the good solution of the problem
mentioned above.
2. SCOPES AND LIMITATION

This research project combines of different process and procedures in methodology; the main
purpose deal is water absorption by minimizing at level of stand water effect on timber in
different way.
but there limitation that will be faced, due to a short period of time it will be difficult to
fabricate each and every waste water appliances, we will focusing in fabrication of wash hand
basin, it will represent the remain ones because they have almost the same functions,
characters and properties, also standardization will not be considered.
This research will not deal with plumbing installation and drainage system fortunately, the
process of installation is similar.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE OF STUDY

 Main objectives
 The main objectives of this research project is to assessing the use of timber
manufacturing of waste water appliance such as wash hand basin, kitchen sink by
finding it’s durability, adequate in uses and cost effective compared to ceramic waste
water appliances.
 Test of absorption capacity of water appliance
 Specific objectives
 Is promotion of made in Rwanda policy by decreasing unemployment rate and
contribution nation economy growth
 To minimizing export product
 to improve innovative skills in sanitary appliances
 To increase familiarity to timber technic
 To improve use of timber
 To reduce environment pollution
 To increasing hygienic
