 Voice Recognition

1. What technology can you find out from the video? Mention them?
The technologies on the video are smart speaker, smart door lock, calendar smart home
automation, connected kitchen devices, etc. All of them are connected smart devices
which are monitored and controlled through a voice recognition system to create a smart
home automation system.
2. Has the technology been familiar with people in Indonesia? Give your comment!
No, haven’t. Actually the voice recognition system has entered and introduced in the
Indonesian electronic market recently, this is evidenced by a commercial advertisement
from Google Company that launched its product called Google Nest Mini. It is a smart
speaker that is equipped with a Google Assistant feature to support an automated smart
home system. However, looking at the habits of many Indonesians who finish their work
manually, the implementation of this system will take quite a long time. In addition, for
the procurement of this system will require high costs, although it is very beneficial in
security system.
3. Did the Voice Recognition system give the man benefit? Or was it just the contrary?
State your answer!
Yes, Voice Recognition System would be useful for him in facilitating completing work
and remind the schedule of activities. But a system certainly has some weaknesses in
some conditions. In the video, users have difficulty operating the system when having
difficulty speaking. Because Voice recognition technology is possible after making a
digital model of an individual's voice that can serve as a stored profile or template of that
voice print. Voice recognition software won't always put words on the screen completely
accurately, so words and phrases are broken down into various kinds of frequency
patterns.

At recent days, technological advances and developments have caused many
factories to create devices that can support human needs specifically to complete work
that can be done automatically. The devices that can do homework include smart
speakers, smart door locks, calendar smart home automation, connected kitchen devices,
etc. All of them are connected smart devices which are monitored and controlled through
a voice recognition system to create a smart home automation system. Voice recognition
software turns speech into text when users talk into the system and it transcribes what
they say. With the help of the technology users can easily control devices and create
documents by speaking. If the user can use this system properly, all his work can be
completed exactly and quickly. This system is very useful in every facet of our lives,
especially in security systems.
But voice recognition system also has some weaknesses in certain conditions.
Voice recognition technology is possible after making a digital model of an individual's
voice that can serve as a stored profile or template of that voice print. Voice recognition
software won't always put words on the screen completely accurately, so words and
phrases are broken down into various kinds of frequency patterns. Voice recognition
software can do that but may not be capable of choosing the correct meaning. It cannot
always differentiate between homonyms and also have problems with slang and technical
words. In addition, a digital system definitely needs electricity to operate. If the
electricity in the house turns off, the system will shut down and cause some problems. So
you should provide an alternative way so you don't get caught up in that situation.
