What is the essence of the message of Sherry?

Sherry Turkle’s “Connected but alone” Ted talk augmented the effects of technology on people
particularly in subject of communication and relationships. She pointed out that while we are
getting more and more connected to technology we are drifting away and disconnecting our mind
from reality. Technology is changing and overtaking our lives that we lose the value of real
genuine human interaction that we must save and give importance.
