COLLEGE OVERVIEW
The Portmore Community College (PCC) was
established in 1992 in the sunshine city of Portmore.
From a vision and fuelled by unswerving
determination of a committed staff. PCC operates
two campuses: Portmore Campus and Old Harbour
Campus.
PCC continues its mandate to provide high quality
post-secondary and tertiary education to Jamaicans.
Embodied in our mission statement is the mandate:
“To build the human capital of the communities we
serve by providing diverse pathways to quality
higher education and learning enhance proficiency,
and professionalism…PCC is recognized as a viable
option for quality post-secondary education… as we
continue to provide our students with affordable,
