CITY (ACCORDING TO THEIR RANK)

RANK SIZE RULE

If town or cities are arranged according to their population size and rank then there is an inverse relationship between population and rank of a town and
city that is population of a town or city is inversely proportional to their rank.
Mathematical Relation:

Pr = P1/rq Where, Pr = Population of rth rank.

For ideal condition q=1, Pr= P1/r
P1 = Population of rank 1 city.
q = Non negative exponent
