IR Bobcat Special Service Tools have been carefully designed to endure years of continuous use and provide techni-
cians with the best vehicle service solutions. To get the most satisfaction from your investment, follow these proper
care and handling recommendations:
• Always store tools in a clean dry place off of the floor surface. Electronic component tools can also be damaged
if improperly stored.
• Make every effort to separate tools during transit and storage to avoid potential damage, which could affect
performance. When practical, return tools to their proper storage units after each use.
• Use each Special Service Tool only for its intended purpose to prevent damage to the tool and vehicle compo-
nents.
• Many tools are designed for use with other hand tools. Never use power tools in place of hand tools unless
specified in tool instructions or service procedures. Trying to “cut corners” can damage both tools and vehicle
components, and ultimately voids the warranty on the tool.
• Routine cleaning of Special Service tools will keep them looking new and ready for the next service application.
To clean black oxide or zincplated tools, use a soft cloth and mineral spirits.

You can accurately check hydraulic system compo-
nent performance under operating conditions to pin-
point trouble. Unit is adaptable to "inline" testing
hook-ups, since it can withstand full system pressure
at both inlet and outlet ports. Precise control of pres-
sure is possible. Accuracy is maintained regardless of
fluid viscosity or temperature. Tests systems deliver-
ing up to 50 GPM (0-200 liters/min.) at working pres-
sures to 5,000 PSI (344.7 Bar). Fully portable for field
use. Dual pressure gauges permit highly-accurate
readings in low pressure ranges… useful when test-
ing power shift transmissions, power steering sys-
tems, etc. Low pressure readings are taken by press-
ing a button, then consulting inner scale (0-10 GPM,
37.85 Liter/min) of flow gauge.

Here is a flowmeter designed to immediately give the
serviceman the data he needs to know. This flowm-
eter is easy to use and safe.
Oil flow, pressure, and temperature are measured,

enabling him to check component performance. Unit
is adaptable to pump efficiency, circuit leakage, hy-
drostatic closed loop, low pressure power shift trans-
mission and "in-line" testing.
Unit can withstand full system pressure at both the

inlet and outlet ports. Unit incorporates a highly
sensitive load valve, capable of maintaining a pre-
set pressure regardless of the flow through the in-
strument. This unit tests systems delivering up to
283 L/Min flow, at operating pressures to 344.7 Bar.
Large, easy-to-read gauges are featured. A thermal
expansion valve protects the low pressure gauge
from damage due to increased pressure when heat
expands oil.

◗ DIESEL ENGINE COMPRESSION

TEST KIT
This kit makes testing compression on all diesel en-
gines used in Bobcats easy. In a few minutes a com-
pression test can be made on any John Deere, Perkins,
Isuzu, Kubota or Deutz diesel engine used on Bobcat
loaders. The kit comes complete with glow plug or
injector adapters, carrying case, pressure gauge with
check valve and release, and application charts.
Simply remove an injector or glow plug from the en-

gine, insert the correct adapter in the cylinder head
and attach the gauge assembly to the quick coupler.

◗ FLUID TEMPERATURE GAUGE

This fluid thermometer may be used to measure the
temperature of hydraulic oil or engine coolant.
If a faulty sender is suspected, it may be checked for

accuracy by using this gauge.
The hydro-sender from the port block may be re-

moved and the gauge installed in its place (Fig. 1).
By checking the fluid temperature reading, the serv-

iceman can diagnose a faulty unit.

A special set of tools has been developed to help service and repair the Peugeot XUD9 engine used in the Model
751 Skid Steer Loader.
The tools may be purchased several different ways:

BOBCAT PARTS SERVICE warrants to the dealer that Special Tools distributed by BOBCAT PARTS SERVICE shall be free
from defects in workmanship and material. BOBCAT PARTS SERVICE warranty obligation shall be limited to any Special
Tool, which under normal use and proper maintenance, proves to be defective in material and workmanship within
twelve (12) months after date of shipment. Any such defect should promptly be noted to BOBCAT PARTS SERVICE and
satisfactory proof thereof should be provided. Upon receipt of the notice and review of the defect, BOBCAT PARTS SERVICE
shall refund the purchase price. BOBCAT PARTS SERVICE shall have the right to require the buyer to return the defective
product, unless such return is impracticable.
The warranty does not cover damage or defects in any products misuse, neglect or accident.
BOBCAT PARTS SERVICE does not make any warranty as to any product, the performance or purpose for which it was
manufactured.
BOBCAT PARTS SERVICE makes no warranty whatsoever in respect of special tools not distributed by BOBCAT PARTS
SERVICE. Instead, the applicable warranties, if any, of the respective manufacturer shall apply.
