NU SchoolSurf Program With Globe Telecom
NU SchoolSurf Program With Globe Telecom
Guided by our mission of providing relevant, innovative and accessible quality education,
National University is ready to keep up with #TheNUNormal as we launch FLEX or Flexible
Learning Experience in the upcoming First Term of AY 2020-2021.
For the first term, National U will implement RASL or Remote Asynchronous/Synchronous
Learning. This mode of education delivery will feature a mix of scheduled online classes
and course materials which can be accessed online. With this, National U partnered with
Globe to ensure students connectivity and access the needed information and data for
their courses as we shift to digital learning.
SchoolSURF, the plan designed by Globe, lets users access digital learning apps such as
GSuite, Office 365, Course Hero, and Blackboard. They may also use virtual
communication platforms such as Zoom, Facebook Messenger, Viber, and WhatsApp to
assist in online classes and school administration tasks.
Any unused STANDARD data after 30 days will be added to the following month’s
STANDARD data load.
The following are the sites allowed and blocked on SchoolSURF plan:
Allowed: Office 365, Moodle, Viber, Hangouts, WhatsApp, FB Messenger, Zoom, GSuite,
Wikipedia, Canva, Course Hero, Blackboard and Bright Space
Blocked: Tiktok, Netflix, Hulu, Hooq, Tribe, NBA, Disneylife, Cartoon Network, Fox+, iFlix,
