The word “culture” comes from the Latin “colere," which means to cultivate and grow. Culture is
the characteristics, knowledge, and behavior of a particular group of people. This includes
language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music, and arts. Today, cultural diversity across the planet
is increasing faster than ever. This is are moving because people more easily and freely around
the planet. At the same time, and as a result, more and more people, especially the younger
generation, feel that they don’t belong to a particular culture.
