Course material • Books: • Air pollution control engineering / Noel de Nevers • Introduction to Environmental Engineering (The Mcgraw-hill Series in Civil and Environmental Engineering) by Mackenzie L Davis, David A Cornwell • Any book of environmental engineering Course evaluation policy • Minor 1: 33; Minor 2: 33; Major: 34 • Quiz and assignment will be decided by instructor. • Grading will be done against total 100 • Absolute grading • Minimum passing mark: 30; • A Grade: >80 • 10% of the total marks to surprise quiz(zes) can be assigned. If attendance of the student is greater than 90%, result of the best three quizzes will be considered, else average of all quizzes will be considered.
