Description and Objectives of the Outreach Programme:

The Outreach Programme, “Studies in English, and Communication Skills in English” will have the
components of Orientation for Studies in English and Communication Skills in English. It attempts to
develop awareness about Studies in English, and to develop communication skills in English for
practical purposes—

paving path for functional interaction: oral and written in English

orienting to face the segment of English( with focus on grammar) in Competitive Exams
facilitating facing Interviews
bridging gaps, and preparing the potential candidates to join MA English Programme in
Dravidian University ( if one desires).

Eligibility: Candidates in the 6th semester of UG (BA, B.Com and B.SC) or UG degree Holders (Passed
Candidates) of Dravidian University or any other recognized University.
Age Limit: No Age Limit

Fee: Free

How to Register / Apply:

Applying to the given email ID with a copy of Student ID or Study Certificate along with a
copy of 10th/ SSC pass Certificate (or) a copy of Degree Pass Certificate as scanned
documents or camera copy documents. However students of Dravidian University who are
in the 6th Sem (waiting for writing their 6th Sem exams) can apply with their student ID no.

Duration and Time: 10 Days with a 2 hours session every day.
Mode of Training / Interaction: Google Meet and/ or Cisco Webex
