Overview

As more enterprises move their workloads to multiple clouds, IT and business

risks and deliver more automation. IBM Multicloud Management Platform (MCMP)
(R)

has been a cornerstone for those looking to simplify and optimize hybrid IT
management. MCMP is a digital consumption and delivery platform with integration
and orchestration layers that supports multiple technology stacks across a
multivendor platform.

IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management (CP4MCM)

IBM is expanding its MCMP portfolio to offer managed services for IBM Cloud Pak
for Multicloud Management (CP4MCM), all under a single services control plane.
IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management is an application-centric, AI-infused IT
management set of tools designed to provide full visibility and control wherever your
workloads run.

MCMP provides new hybrid multicloud management capabilities through CP4MCM,

including advanced cluster management and container orchestration; security and
compliance dashboards for DevSecOps use cases; service composition using a
common language, Terraform, across clouds; and infrastructure management that
expands both VMs and Containers.

CP4MCM also enables site reliability engineering (SRE) and IT operations to remotely
manage the entire development, security, and operations pipelines with automation
that delivers the operational efficiency and application resiliency necessary to ensure
business continuity and continuous innovation.

The combined capabilities of CP4MCM and MCMP bring one of the most robust hybrid
multicloud management control planes in the market, providing not just software
and tools, but also integrations, data, content, security, and professional skills and
expertise to guide clients through their journey to clouds while accelerating their
business transformation.
