GOVERNOR SYSTEM
1) Check that AC input supply MCB1& MCB3 and DC input supply MCB2&MCB4 are ON
2) Check that green lights are flashing on power supply PS1&PS2
3) Check for any alarm/trip indication on governor panel
4) Check for governor mode selection. U1

5) Check that mechanical over speed device is reset.
6) Check the emergence shut down valve is in normal position.
7) Check at actuator assembly that Dither is in continues Vibration
1) Check the power supply switches are ON and green light is glowing on power supply modules.
2) Check that input channel light is glowing and SL light is blinking on module TN8001-7

1) Check that auxiliary supply green light is glowing on the following protection relays.
i) Differential protection (SPAD)
ii) Over current protection (SPAJ)
2) Check that there is no trip or alarm indication on relays
3) Check that there is no indication on target relays (if any note down)………………………
4) Check that there is no trip indication on 11KV breakers protection
EXCITATION SYSTEM
1) Check that all MCB are ON.
2) Check that 220V AC&DC Control supply indications are glowing
3) Check that there is no fault indication on HMI
4) Check that cooling fan are running and there is no abnormal noise
5) Note down excitation control mode

6) Note down the field voltage and field current page#4
1) Check the auxiliary DC supply switch is on position 2 and green light (ready) is glowing on relay

note down disturbance time with date, trigger signal, alarm and trip indications.……………………

1) Check that DC charging supply is
ON for both modules.
2) Check that Run LED is blinking on CPU module.
3) Check that status display green LED is glowing on MEX IP module
4) Check if there is any fault (RED) LED is glowing.
5) Check Fan supply is ON.
6) Check for any abnormal noise of Fan.
COMMUNICATION BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM
1) Check that input power supply LED is ON in all units.
2) Check for any alarm indication on battery charging units.
3) Note down the voltage of communication batteries.
