1. He ‫ ﷺ‬led humans to submit before one
supreme Lord, not humans like them
It was and is very common to worship human
beings just like them. For example:
Sikh worship a human Ghuru nanak, Christians worship
Jesus A.S and Buddhists worship buddha etc.
People make dua to them thinking that they
can answer their prayers, and they posses divine powers.
But actually…….
A human worshiping another human is
embarrassing, insulting and source of disgrace.
Prophets before Muhammed S.A.W. all tried their very
best to save humanity from this kind of lowliness but
they weren’t able to do it on a large scale. For example:
Nuh A.S preached for 950 years and only 80 people
believed & only 12 people believed in Isa A.S
Only the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬exclusively achieved the goal
to make people keep their dignity by only
lowering themselves before the One supreme
God.
He ‫ ﷺ‬successfully passed down this to his
companions and established it on a vast level.
Hadith:
Anas ibn Maalik R.A said: No person was dearer
to them than the Messenger of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬but if
they saw him, they did not stand up for him,
because they knew that he ‫ ﷺ‬disliked that.

Conclusion:
So Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬saved humans from the
humiliation of submitting before
humans and protected the honor and
respect of humans.

was an Indian spiritual master who is regarded by

He basically gave humanity a thought that things
should be dealt based on facts not imaginary and made up
stuff.
for example #13 and crossing of a black cat is unlucky etc.
No one can prove that if you come across a black cat, then
it’s a bad luck for you.
Do these type of things have any reality or evidence?
No.
Prophet Muhammad strictly stopped these type of
things that has nothing to do with reality. Rather it wastes
time and limits progress in life.
He greatly emphasized that humans should live in the real
world, and leave fake, unrealistic things behind.
"The sun eclipsed in the lifetime of Allah's
Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬on the day when (his son)
Ibrahim died. So the people said that the sun
had eclipsed because of the death of Ibrahim.
Allah's Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬said, "The sun and the
moon do not eclipse because of the death or
life (i.e. birth) of someone. The sun and
moon are the two signs of Allah. When you
see the eclipse pray and invoke Allah.“

nature rather than submit before it
Before Prophet P.BU.H, majority of people were
in awe of nature and because of that they started
worshipping them. People used to worship the sun, stars,
moon, fire, ocean and even trees and cows.
They thought of these things huge and powerful. On the
other hand Prophet P.B.U.H taught the fact that these
things are created by Allah to serve humans, so they
should explore nature and make use of it.
For example, an ocean is meant to travel through and get
benefit from it. So don’t be in an awe of its massiveness,
rather discover the laws of physics that has already set by
Allah S.W.T. Make ships to explore through the seas.
This teaching of Prophet P.B.U.H led Muslims to
discover nature.
If you go back in early history of science, you
would find majority of scientist were Muslims. In
fact in many areas of science these were the only
Muslim scientists who discovered many basic
concepts for great revolutionary inventions. For
example

surgery, coffee

Before, people did not have the freedom of

kingship of a certain family, generation after generation.

royal family does not make him/her eligible to rule over Umar R.A
people.

The correct thing is that a ruler should be selected based Usman R.A
on their qualities, skills and abilities to manage the matters
of a land. This is what we see that Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬and His

6. He ‫ ﷺ‬condemned racism and gave His clear and open
statement supporting equality
Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬made it clear that all humans are
equal and gave a profound statement on Hijja al widah
that was witnessed by almost 124 000 people.
All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority
over a non Arab and a non Arab has no superiority over an
Arab. Also a white has no superiority over black and a black has
no superiority over white except by piety and good actions
Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬and his companions left many examples for
humanity to learn from.
For example:
Prophet chose a black Egyptian slave Hazrat Bilal R.A as the
first Muazzan (the one who calls Azan) of Islam. He was chosen
three times to be the first Muazzan of the 3 most sacred
mosques.

Once a woman from noble and high
class/family was found guilty of theft.
His family tried to save her from
punishment and tried to convince the
prophet not to execute punishment
on her. On hearing this the Prophet
‫ ﷺ‬got angry and said, the people
before you, met their downfall
because they discriminated between
elite and the common people.
He ‫ ﷺ‬also said that if his own
daughter Fatima R. A committed this
act of theft, I would have punished
her as well.

6. He ‫ ﷺ‬condemned racism and gave His clear
and open statement

Umar R.A entered in the city of Jerusalem as a conqueror, with his

servant and one donkey on which they both took turns to ride on.
At that time he was the ruler of a great Muslim Empire yet was in
such a simple clothing that he could hardly be distinguished from
his servant.
And it was all out of simplicity and equality taught by the Prophet
‫ﷺ‬.

Conclusion:
These are the only few aspects of Prophet’s life that caused
a great positive change in humans life.
It also shows that He‫ ﷺ‬was sent to all mankind as a mercy.
