Scholarships for new entering degree-seeking students


ACG has a long tradition of providing scholarships (full or partial tuition reduction) to students who distinguish
themselves academically and/or face financial need, with the help of generous donors who believe in the transformative
value of good education.
Need-Based Scholarships
To be included in the evaluation process, all prospective students must submit the Online Deree Need-Based Scholarships Application and the
Online Deree Need-Based Grants Application, along with all required documents (please refer to the How To Apply section at the end of the leaflet).

How to apply:
• Qualified candidates can submit an online application by vising the following link: www.acg.edu/financial-assistance-procedure.
• All applications must be submitted by August 31, 2020.
• Scholarship recipients will be announced prior to the first day of classes.

Evaluation Process:
All completed applications are screened by the Scholarships Committee, which will compile a short list of qualified applicants. In the next and final stage,
these applicants will be interviewed by the respective committee.

The Scholarships Committee reserves the right to:


• Extend an annual scholarship to the same recipient, provided the said recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and has submitted an application.
• Award, to an applicant, a scholarship other than the one that the said applicant chose to apply for.

The screening will be based on the following criteria:


• Meeting of all the eligibility requirements for the relevant scholarship(s).
• Personal statement(s) by the applicant (which is included in the application).
• Recommendation letter / Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• High School graduation grade and English language proficiency.
• Financial need demonstrated by submitting a “Need-Based Financial Assistance – Grants” Application (only for need-based scholarships).

Scholarships awarded through the Frances Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts will be reviewed and considered by the School’s dean, department heads and faculty.

Please note:
• All applicants who are applying for Need-Based Scholarships are required to submit a “Need-Based Financial Assistance – Grants” application, in addition
to the scholarship application, as financial need is one of the criteria for need-based scholarships.
• The College reserves the right to adjust the academic criteria for financial assistance found on its website and on scholarship brochures.
• Financial Assistance is given for tuition only and does not include other fees.
• Students on academic probation (CI below 2.00/4.00) are not eligible to receive any kind of financial assistance.
• Non-credit courses are not covered by the tuition reduction grant except for courses in the English for Academic Purposes Program (EAPP).
• Certificate-Minor seeking students and Non-Degree students are not eligible to apply for Scholarships.
