3 Scaffolding for Erection LUM
Contractor shell submit detailed erection schedule & safety plan within the 15 day of the receipt of work order and get it approved

by the Engineer-in-Charge & safety dept and the contractor shall adhere to such approved programmed.
2 Contractor should mobilization tools tackles and manpower within 07 days after the site clearance.
3 All Manpower mobilization, demobilization, their lodging & boarding will be arranged by contractor at contractors cost.
Cranes, winch machines, trailer, Hydra, boom lift, Cutting set, welding machines, drilling machine, Grinding machine and any other

equipment required to complete the building in all respects shall be contractor scope.
6 Equipment storage and Fire Fighting System material storage & safety shall be in contractor scope.
The contractor shall at his own expense, arrange for the safety provisions as appended to these conditions, or as required by the
Engineer in respect of all labour directly or indirectly employed for the execution of the works and shall provide all facilities in
7 connection therewith. In case, the contractor fails to make the arrangements and provide necessary facilities as aforesaid, the
Employer shall be entitled to do so and recover the cost thereof from the contractor

17 Contractor shall submit safety plan & erection procedure before erection. The same shall be approved by safety and UTCL project
dept.
18 Contractor shall submit rigging plan before erection. The same shall be approved by safety and UTCL project dept.
19 Contractor shall be submit HIRA. The same shall be approved by safety and UTCL project dept.
20 Foundation bolts shall be aligned, fixed, leveled and grouted by the civil contractor. The alignment, levels to be checked and
certified by Fire Fighting System erection contractor before concreting by civil contractor.
21 Consumable required for Fire Fighting System erection like Electrodes, Cutting Gas (O2, DA & LPG), welding cables with accessories,
cutting set with accessories, Grinding wheel, Drill bits, Cotton waste ….etc shall be under contractor scope.
22 Modification works as per site condition shall be in contractor scope (without price implication).
23 Power will be provided on chargeable basis at 4 points by APCW and further distribution is in contractor scope.
24 Contractor shall offer for inspection protocol at each stage of erection of Fire Fighting System. Booster pump alignment shell be in
contractor scope.
25 Erection, alignment works will be executed during running of plant (online) for all possible works.
26 The contractor must co-operate with the other contractors appointed by UTCL so that the work shall proceed smoothly without
delay and to the satisfaction of the Engineer.
The Contractor shall construct and maintain at his own cost, the temporary access roads area leveling and approaches to the work

area.
28 Supervision of erection & safety for Fire Fighting System shall be in your scope.
29 Vendor shall submit weekly and monthly progress report against planning.
During the Construction stage the contractor, at his own cost, shall keep the site in neat and tidy condition and will remove all
30
debris and waste materials from the site regularly and as directed by Engineer in charge from time to time.
The Contractor shall note that several other agencies may also be simultaneously working within and around the structures
31 covered under the present contract. The Contractor shall plan and execute his work in phased manner as directed by the Engineer
from time to time and shall fully cooperate with other agencies working at site simultaneously.
32 Contractor should follow UTCL Electrical safety, road safety, LOTO, Machine Guarding and Rail safety standards.
33 Quality and safety norms are as per WCM standards.
34 Contractor should submit Pre-Qualification documents as per UTCL CSM standards. Format shall be furnished by UTCL.
35 Contractor shall be submit safety documents and credentials along with final offer.
36 Erection period shall be submit along with final offer.
37 Safety deviations shall be liable for penalty as per safety manual.

46 Use of Seat Belt while driving shall be compulsory. Don’t use cellphone while driving.
47 Drunk & drive and over speeding shall not be allowed in plant and colony area.
48 Loose clothing at workplace shall not be allowed.
49 No-smoking is to be observed at workplace.
Contractor shall conduct weekly safety audit and observation at workplace. Monthly safety report is to be submitted to UTCL by

5th of every month.
51 Contractor shall keep an emergency vehicle stand by in addition to UTCL-Medical aid.
