GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Identify the tourist wealth of Salcedo

DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOPIC

According to the inventory of natural and cultural resources of the Salcedo

canton by parish, there are thirty-three attractions distributed in its six parishes and

ten tourist products, 66.6% of the attractions that the Salcedo canton has are cultural

while 33.4% are natural ; Of the total of these resources, 39% are historical, 18% are

scheduled events, 9% are lake environments, 9% are mountains, 6% correspond to

groundwater, 6% to ethnography and the remaining 12% are attractive. forest type,

plain, hill and scientific technical relationships

TOURIST AREA

The tourist areas present are: the Yambo Lagoon and the Anteojos Lagoon, the

first that due to its location in the South Pan-American Highway allows easy access

and the second that has been promoted in tourist packages bound for the Cotopaxi

National Park. Other places such as churches, spas, tourist complexes, as well as

ecological hiking, cycle walks, camping, natural spas, in indigenous communities
