Application Review
We know that it takes a lot of time and effort to apply to a job—so thank
you for taking the time to apply to Instacart. Our team carefully reviews
each application to identify the best matches for our roles.

Recruiting Assessment
If your background looks like it may be a great addition to Instacart, a
member of our recruiting team will reach out for a quick call. We’ll
give you a thorough overview of the role, our culture, and make sure
we can answer any questions you may have.

Team Assessment
This is your first peek into your life at Instacart! You’ll either chat with
members of your potential team or complete an exercise that models
the problems we tackle here—it depends on the team you are
interviewing with. Your recruiter will share additional details to make
sure you are prepped as much as possible.

Virtual “Onsite”
At this point, we would love for you to meet more members of your
team and folks what you’ll work with regularly. We recommend that you
use this time to interview them as much as they will be interviewing you.
We love it when our candidates come prepared with questions! Side
note, this would typically be an on-site interview at one of our offices,
but seeing as we are in a global pandemic, all interviews are remote.

Debrief
Collaboration is a cornerstone value at Instacart. We’ll come together
to discuss our conversations with you to better align our feedback.
This typically occurs the day after your onsite so we can get news to
you as quickly as possible.
