Desde el principio de la frontera México-Americana, la gente ha luchado
en contra de ella. Es una frontera militarizada y violenta, demarcando
un espacio interno de controles de migración estrictos y a la misma vez,
permitiendo el transito libre del capital y el dinero. Esta frontera existe
dentro de un contexto de separaciones raciales, movimiento restringido, y
la división de grupos indígenas. Por años por todo el mundo, la gente ha
estado rompiendo cercos y tumbando muros, liberando a los detenidos y
luchando por los derechos de la gente emigrante. Un movimiento mundial
esta creciendo. Una de la muchas tácticas en este movimiento es el
campamento sin fronteras- un espacio para tomar acción directa y hacer
comunidad. Acompáñanos a un encuentro transnacional en contra de las
fronteras, el cual se llevara acabo en la frontera México-Americana.
Llamarlo un “Campamento Sin Fronteras” solo explica una parte. Es cierto
que es un campamento en contra de esta, al igual que en contra de todas
las fronteras ilegitimas creadas por las naciones. Y mientras nuestros críticos
rápidamente llaman atención a las maneras en que nosotros estamos en
contra de esto y el otro, no podemos negar que en estos tiempos - en las
etapas avanzadas del neo-imperialismo, neo-capitalismo y neo-fascismo
- nosotros tenemos que luchar en contra de los productos mas horrorosos
y desarrollados de la dominancia del estado y de las corporaciones. Un
brazo de esa hidra es la frontera y cada estrecha entidad a la cual se
conecta: centros de detención, la xenofobia y el racismo, las muertes en

patrulla fronteriza, un racista violento, un hombre violento, un querido engañante, un estudiante, un
policía...
La amenaza de violencia a diario, la necesidad de esconder tu propia presencia e identidad, el odio
acido del otro, tantos sienten estas cosas, a base de percepciones de genero, estado de emigración,
vivienda, limpieza y puntos de vista políticos...

Sin embargo, mi pequeño anécdota simplemente demuestra mi gran privilegio como alguien viviendo
en los Estados Unidos. Todos los días, hay una mujer en Ciudad Juárez, caminando por la oscuridad
de su parada de camión, el camión que la lleva a su maquiladora. Mas de 400 de estas mujeres nunca
llegaron a su hogar. Millones de personas por todo el mundo han tenido la experiencia de la violencia
sexual. Hay diferentes grado de las amenazas de violencia que nosotros enfrentamos.
Mi padre colombiano siempre trato a mis hermanas diferente. El quería que mi hermano y yo
aprendiéramos a ser el hombre de la casa. A demás, el le pegaba a su esposa de tras de puertas
cerradas. El machismo y la violencia sexual vive en las culturas ‘latinas’ y en muchas otras culturas
por todo el mundo. ¿Como es que el patriarcado opera en nuestra cultura cotidiana, sea la cultura
que sea?

Actualmente somos un grupo de migrantes y colectivos anarquistas de Mexico:
Tijuana, Ensenada, Mexicali, Ciudad Juarez, D.F., Estado de México, Jalisco, Oaxaca,
Chiapas. Y diferentes colectivos en los Estados Unidos: San Diego, Ciudad de
Nueva York, Tucson, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Portland, Durham y Área de
la Bahía de Monterey, quienes estamos en solidaridad incondicional con los
indígenas, con los y las migrantes del mundo y con los colectivos anarquistas
de México. Muchos de nosotros y nosotras colectivamente e individualmente
somos adherentes a la Otra Campaña. Somos anarquistas, estudiantes, maestr@s,
trabajador@s, artistas, indigenas, realizador@s de medios, queers (personas
radicales que no quieren adoptar los canones establecidos de género), madres,
mujeres, hombres y otros.
Junt@s estamos trabajando para crear un mundo sin fronteras, creemos que las
fronteras son prisiones y que todos los presos y presas que resultan del cruce
“ilegal”son pres@s polític@s. Abajo los muros de las prisiones! No estamos
todos, faltan los presos!
Estamos concientes que la frontera con E.U.A. no empieza en el norte de México,
empieza en el Canal de Panamá, creando fronteras y promoviendo divisiones
de género, ideológicas, de racismo, de xenofobia, de nacionalismo y de clase. En
este esfuerzo, estamos organizando un campamento contra las fronteras con
duración de 4 a 5 dias en el otoño de 2007 en la región fronteriza en Mexicali
y en Calexico y a la par organizar diferentes acciones contra la frontera entre
México y Guatemala. Hacemos un llamado internacional a Derribar el Muro!
Sabemos que no es el primer muro y tampoco va a ser el último.
Hacemos un llamado a la comunidad internacional para tener un día de acción
global contra los centros de detención de migrantes, las fronteras y los controles
migratorios en el otoño de 2007, durante los días de los campamento contra
las fronteras.
Estas acciones incluyen la creación espacios, una red y un proceso para la
práctica contínua, autónoma y sin fronteras. Esta autonomía tiene dos partes:

El desarollo y práctica de maneras autónomas de vivir en una manera sostenible
y justa.
Estamos en solidaridad y apoyaremos el campamento de la Otra Campaña de
febrero de 2007 hasta los mediados de mayo de 2007 en Baja California.
Esta propuesta no representa a todos los colectivos que organizan los
campamentos contra las fronteras, sino a los participantes en la red que están
presentes en el Encuentro de los Pueblos Zapatistas con los Pueblos del
Mundo.
