ART APPRECIATION

WHY STUDY ART

Upon watching a video, I realized how important the art is and why should people must
study art. I agree about the statement of Yinka Shonibare that "Art is connected to life." Every
single thing we do there is always an art, we simple took a picture is already art, we sang our
favorite music is art, we eat delicious dishes is also an art. More than we know, art is more than
beauty especially in this generation where the use of digital art is rampant. This means that art
is the product of human existence. It mold people from simple to great and that was critical
thinking. Through art people train to think creatively this done through exploring the
imagination with the use of senses. It awaken the talent of an individual and gives them a
better version of who they are.

I believe that art is also Identity thus it preserve the culture of such community. It is an
identity not only a in group but the artist itself. As they exert themselves within the artwork in
showing how they feel or who they are and sometimes the content is all about current issue
that people might feel it. People looked at the art like mirror and imagining their vices and
virtuous like who, what, why and how they behave in a sociaty.

In my view about why we need to study art it is because we are the art. From the very
beginning our ancestors create a tool for survival and now we rely on the art that people
created like technology and even primitive materials. We adopt the trends that the only result
of our habits and art occur within the trends or art is the trend itself.

Art is not only about painting, music or sculpture it is finding the beauty of everything as it
brings pleasure to the performers and also to the audience. They looked at it as an inspiration
and motivation to survive and live the life meaningfully. According to BOB and Roberta Smith
"art helps kid finding who they are." this means that art helps people to develop their
personality. It is a way to discipline students and teach them to be resourceful like handling
materials in their own way to create a high standard output. Art is very important because it
more than amusement, it deal our daily lives, it is way to solve delimma, it is a key for
improvement.
