APPENDIX 2 VESSEL TOLERANCES

A2.1 GENERAL
In addition to tolerances as required by the Code, tolerances for all pressure vessels shall
be in accordance with Figure A2.1 for SI units or Figure A2.2 for US Customary units.
Internal dimensional tolerances may need to be tighter than that indicated in the figures to
meet the requirements for installation of internal components. If tighter tolerances are
required for internal components this shall be indicated on the vessel requisition data sheet.
