Description: Mr. Vega Inumbra CBA 2019 is a fun- search which looks for the best student
who shall exemplify great potential in funny stint with their exotic beauty. This is a
platform for them to develop their personality, how to be more productive and creative, to
be professional in dealing with people and remind them the importance of moral values
and their relationship to society.

Objective: Mr. Vega Inumbra CBA 2019 promotes gender equality with no hesitations,
empowers the LGBTQ+ Community through heartfully acceptance and unites to express
their pride.

Rules and Guidelines:

1. Each team must have one male candidate for Mr. Vega Inumbra CBA 2019, who is:
a. bona fide Business and Accountancy student from any year level of the college.
b. In good-health
2. The final name of the candidate with their contact information for each team shall
be submitted on or before to the Organizing Committee until 5:00
p.m.(Organizing Committee contact no. 09672777644)
3. Changing of candidate due to valid reasons shall only be allowed 2 days after the
final submission of names.
*For verification of valid reasons, candidate shall submit letter explaining her
withdrawal reasons from the competition. The letter shall be addressed to the CBA-
SC ADVISERS, Miss Jennifer M. Aguanta and/or Mr. Christian Jake Yting, CPA.
4. The search for Mr. Vega Inumbra CBA 2019 is divided into two rounds: (1) the
Preliminary Round of which the final 5 are chosen (2) the Final Round where the
winners will be crowned.
5. Candidates will be carefully judged base on the criteria presented. All scores are
back to zero for every criterion and for every round.
6. Each candidate should observe proper decorum and shall cooperate in ALL
Practices until the Recognition Night. If the candidate has a valid reason, a substitute
for the practices is required.
7. The candidates must prepare maximum of 60 and maximum of 100 minutes for
their talent.
8. The result of Mr. Vega Inumbra CBA 2019 is part of the pointing system of each
Team.
9. The candidates will be having their first pictorial on ___________________(further
announcement will be made as to the venue of the pictorial and attire to be worn)
10. The scores shall be back to zero during the Final Question and Answer Portion.
11. Each violation from the stipulated Rules and Guidelines and Mechanics shall be
subject to a two-point deduction per judge.
12. Sudden changes of schedule and related matters shall be informed through the
candidates’ SMS and Social Media ahead of time.
13. The organizing Committee reserves the right to create, revoke and modify at any
time, in any way its requirements, rules, guidelines and mechanics at its absolute
discretion without prior notice.
14. By consensus of the panel of Judges’, after any deductions, the decision is final and
irrevocable.

Mechanics (PRELIMINARY ROUND)

A. Best in Production Number (10%)

This award is given to the candidate who made the best appeal during their
production number.

Criteria for Judging

Mastery 4%
Poise and Projection 2%
Gracefulness 2%
Audience appeal 2%
Total 10%

B. Best in Production Attire (5%)

This award is given to the candidate who stands out with the attire during the
production number.

Criteria for Judging

Attire Fitting and Decency 2%

Poise and Projections 2%
Confidence 1%
Total 5%

C. People’s Choice Award (5%)

This award is given to a candidate who garnered most applauded during the event
Mechanics:
The winner will automatically have the 5% in overall scoring and the
remaining candidates will have 3 % in overall scoring.

D. Best in Talent (20%)

1. The candidates shall prepare a minimum of 60 seconds and a maximum of 100

seconds routine for their talent.
2. Assistance may do but their must be only one performer.
3. RATED SPG talents are strictly prohibited.
4. The attire/outfit shall not be sexually suggestive and provocative. Everything
worn shall be of decent standards.
5. The theme is limitless as long as the attire/outfit follows guideline number 3 and
abide the university’s policies.

E. Best in Sports Attire (20%)

1. The Sports Attire must have a twist. It should be extra-ordinary which people have
not yet seen in their life.

2. The attire/outfit shall not be sexually suggestive and provocative.

3. The theme is limitless as long as the attire/outfit follows guideline number 3 and
abide the university’s policies.

F. Best in Long Gown (20%)

1. The candidates shall wear Long Gown Attire. The attire shall be of the
candidates’ choice as long as it adheres to the University Dresscode Policy.
2. The use of modern or classic attire shall be of the candidates’ perogative.
3. The candidates may use props in their presentation as long as they do not delay
the time allotted for the candidates’ exposure.
4. The Long Gown attire shall be the attire worn during the Question and Answer
Portions.

G. Preliminary Question and Answer Portion (20%)

1. The questions for the preliminary round shall be prepared by Organizing

Committee with the CBASC Adviser.
2. The names of the Judges shall be written in an enclosed envelope. Then, the
contestants shall pick one envelope to identify which judge shall ask them a
question.
3. The judges shall pick a question from the glass bowl and shall read the question
twice.
4. The candidate shall be given 20 seconds to ponder and a sound of the bell shall
signal at the end of the 20-second preparation time.
5. Delivery of the answer shall be done in 60 seconds only. A bell shall rung to
signal the end of the candidates’ delivery of answer.

H. FINAL QUESTION AND ANSWER PORTION

1. The final question and answer portion shall be participated in by the Top 5
Candidates of the Search for Mr. Vega Inumbra CBA 2019.
2. The previous obtained scores by the candidates shall no longer be used for the
final round.
3. For this level of the search, all scores shall be back to zero.
4. The candidate who scored the highest percentage wins the title.
5. The questions for the final round shall be prepared by the CBASC Adviser.
6. There shall be only one question to all candidates which will be flashed on the
screen.
7. The other candidates who are not yet in their turn to answer the final Q and A
will be isolated and/or shall be placed in a room where they could not hear the
final question.
8. The candidates have 20 seconds to ponder and after the bell rung the candidates
shall answer the question right away.
9. Delivery of the answer shall be done in 60 seconds only. A bell shall rung to
signal the end of the candidates’ delivery of answer.

AWARDS
Minor Awards

1. Best in Production Number. This award is given to the candidate who made the best
appeal during their production number.
2. Best in Production Attire. This award is given to the candidate who stands out with
the attire during the production number.
3. Mr. Photogenic. This award is given to the most photogenic among the candidates
during the photo session. The sponsoring photographer shall pick the winner of the
said award.
4. People’s Choice Award. This award is given to the candidate who garnered most
shares on Facebook.
5. Mr. Congeniality. This award is given to the friendliest candidate not only to her
fellow candidates but also to her fellow business students.

6. Most Cooperative. This award is given to the most helpful candidate during their
practices and those who arrive on time during practices and has no record of
absences.
7. Mr. Telegenic. This award is given to the most telegenic among the candidates who
stand out during the videoshoot. The sponsoring videographer shall pick the winner
of the said award.
8. Other Special Awards Given by the Sponsors. The awardees shall be selected by the
sponsors and shall not affect the scoring.

Major Awards

1. Best in Talent. This award is given to the candidates who showed the best talent
2. Best in Sports Attire. This award is given to the candidate who have worn an
astonishing sports attire and who have displayed ease and elegance in presenting.
3. Best in Evening Gown. This award is given to the candidates who have worn the
Long Gown attire with pride and confidence.
