EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Swizzles Salad and Juice bar is a small-scale café selling fresh fruit juices and hand-picked
vegetable salads. Swizzles only offers services to customers in shop as of now but it intends to
provide online services soon if it can reach the target audience in future. Swizzles’ vision is to
become the best choice to customers when choosing between cafes in terms of healthy food and
liquids. Its mission is to provide quality but affordable food to customers which will leave them
with self-fulfillment and a craving for healthy diets. It intends to bring up the awareness among
the society about the importance of having a habit of healthy eating. Restaurants and cafes do not
usually live up to the quality they seek to provide for salads and juices and eventually end up
charging a higher price for a fallen quality. Swizzles intends to keep the quality it begins with
going on in future.

The capital for Swizzles is derived from the owner’s personal savings, credit card advances,
family and friends etc. It will accept a variety of payment options, such as- instant cash,
debit/credit cards, payments through apps like bkash/nexus pay.

Swizzles’ value proposition includes- variety of fruit and vegetable juices along with fresh green
salads, well designed and well organized café for customers to sit and relax during or after a
busy day within an affordable price range. The shop’s active, customer centric waiters and
management team will ensure to provide superior customer experience to attain and retain
valuable customers.

Swizzles offers customers various liquids and salads mostly following traditional and
international style recipes in a reasonable price than other competitors. As we are new in
business, our profit margin is not very high as we want to attract more customers so that
Swizzles becomes both familiar and favorable in the eyes of customers. Restaurants and cafes do
not usually live up to the quality they seek to provide for salads and juices and eventually end up
charging a higher price for a fallen quality.

1.0 Introduction

The business is a sole proprietorship. It’s a salad and juice bar. The name of the shop is Swizzles
Salad and Juice Bar. Choosing this business seems reasonable because it’ll be new to the people
here since there are no similar shops currently in Bangladesh. Also, people have started
becoming more conscious towards their health and providing such products will add to their
health concerns and diet. Since, Bangladesh mostly has restaurants serving rich and junk foods
the business will have less competitors and the business will catch the attention of people quite
easily. Competitors will mainly be those of other juice shops or cafes which only specialize in
selling juice or flavored teas, for example: Cha-time Bangladesh, Formosa QQ Tea, etc. Since
Swizzles will be selling fresh fruit juices and salads made from freshly picked greens, it will be a
completely new idea to the people of Bangladesh.
Swizzles will be serving all its products within a reasonable price range. Restaurants and cafes in
Bangladesh have the tendency to charge high prices for simple dishes and liquids nowadays.
Keeping a low-medium price range will help the business attract a lot of customer.

2.0 Single use plan

Single use plan for a large set of activities has been taken in business. We are going to open our
restaurant in Dhanmondi.

2.1 Program
Selecting location: The location for the business will be in KB Square, a busy building in
Dhanmondi 15 which is near the bus stand and has a lot of offices around. During the day time it
will be able to attract school going students as there are many schools there as well. The price
range will also be easily affordable for the students.

Managing capital: Then the capital comes from the owner’s own savings, the money he took
as a loan from his family or his friends or the money he got from his family as an heirloom. Here,
the capital for the business is going to be from the owner’s own savings.

Human resources:

▪ Manager: There will be one manager who will also be doing bookkeeping for the
business as well.

▪ Chef: Swizzles will have one chef and one assistant chef accompanying him in
the kitchen.

▪ Waiters: There will be three waiters to take orders at individual tables and serve
the customers. They will also do the job of cleaning and tidying up the café each
day.

Permission from the Authorities: The business will need to obtain all necessary licenses
and permits from the federal government, the state government, and the local government.

▪ Vat registration

2.2 Project
Less complex then program but very impotent for business future. We have some project
planning-

 Variety of salads and juices in reasonable prices. It charge less from the customers
compared to other competitors.

 Swizzles offers great experience to the customers. The employees are trained notoriously
well and get paid more than their counterparts at other quick service establishments.

 The shop serves the food and beverages that are made from fresh vegetables and fruits
every day.
 The business’s active, customer centric management team ensures to provide superior
customer experience to attain and retain valuable customers.
 Loan money from bank to betterment business activates. In next two year open another
branch in gulshan.
 Swizzles add more fresh juice and salad item in menu and start Online based
advertisement. Through the email, Facebook, Instagram etc.

3.0 Conclusion

Swizzles has many opportunities to grow and the business is planned to be expanded in the future.
Hopefully, one day it’ll become the best choice to customers when choosing between cafes in
terms of healthy food and liquids and it will accomplish its mission by maintaining customer
centric business activities.
