Notes:

2. All Instruments to be supplied with SS316 name plate with tag no. permanently inscribed. Tags shall be permanently

3. Nozzle, Seat and Disc for the above tags shall be forged.
4. All stud bolt and nut material shall be ASTM A193 Gr. B7M & Heavy hex nuts shall be ASTM A194 Gr. 2HM.
5. Painting shall be as per Protective Coating specification for Onshore Structures and Facilities.
7. Carbon steel springs with Nickel plating shall be used for temperature services lower than 250 Deg C.

8. All relief valves of size 1" and above shall be full nozzle full lift type. Relief valves with size less than 1" shall be modified
nozzle type.
9. The pressure relief valve shall meet the requirements of API recommended practice RP 526 ‚Flanged Steel Safety Relief
Valves and RP 521‚ Pressure Relieving and Anti Pressurizing system and shall be of direct acting angle pattern,

Notes:
1. Documentation required :- Calibration Certificate , Ingress Protection Certificate, Material Certificates to 3.1 as per EN 10204, Hydro test ,
operating & Maintenance Instructions & Spare Parts List.
2. All instruments to be supplied with a SS 316 Name plate with Tag no. permanently inscribed. Tags shall be Permanently secured.
3. Orientation of the actuator will be along the pipe axis.
4. Valve body thickness shall be as per ASME B16.34 plus C.A.
5. All instrument painting shall be as per Painting Specification
6. All fastners including stud-bolts and nuts material shall be ASTM A193 Gr. B7/B7M & Heavy hex nuts shall be ASTM A194 Gr. 2H/2HM
with Zinc coated ( hot dipped ) according to ASME B16.5.
7. Air Filter Regulators shall be provided with manual drainage facility, an integral pressure gauge calibrated in barg. Body material shall be
SS316 and filter element is 5 micron size.
8. Flange finish shall be in accordance with ASNI B16.5, for Raised Face (RF) flanges and shall be smooth finish to 125-250 AARH
9. All actuator valves accessories like solenoid valve, filter regulator, etc. shall be mounted on the valve actuator and tubed by vendor
using bright annealed SS316 (ASTM A269) tubing, tube size shall be 10mm O.D. X 1mm W.T.minimum. All tube fittings shall be imperial
and 316 SS double compression type
10. All components such as air filter regulators, limit switches, solenoid valve shall be factory mounted, tubed / wired in completely assemble
condition and bolted to a SS 316 mounting plate which is fixed to a support with SS316 bolts.
11. Spare cable entry shall be plugged with SS316 Ex'd' certified plug.
12. Actuator to be sized for maximum pressure drop equal to the valve design pressure with minimum instrument air supply pressure (5.5 barg).
13. Actuator shall be sized for 1.5 times the required seating torque of the valve when the valve is closed against maximum differential pressure.
14. Actuator shall be supplied with a pressure relief valve to protect the actuator from overpressure if the actuator design pressure is lower
than the maximum instrument air pressure indicated in the datasheet.
17. The valve stem and linkage mechanism shall be consistance with actuator torque characteristic. The maximum torque developed by actuator shall not exceed that
which can be safely sustained by the valve stem. Valve stem or shaft and its trim shall be of blowout proof design and be capable of withstanding the maximum
actuator torque/thrust.
18. The mounting of the actuator shall be suitable for supporting the actuator without external attachments and shall be capable of
resisting actuator's maximum torque force.
19. Limit switches shall be supplied with hermetically sealed NAMUR Inductive proximity switches.
All valves shall be provided with an integral open/close mechanical position indicator(yellow/black) which shall be clearly visible from all angles.
20. Solenoid valve shall have SS 316 body, trim with viton or equal resilient seat (to be anti-explosion decompression type) and surge
suppression diode integrally mounted in enclosure. Open port of solenoid valve shall fitted with a bug screen.
All valves shall be provided with an integral open/close mechanical position indicator(yellow/black) which shall be clearly visible from all angles.
20. Solenoid valve shall have SS 316 body, trim with viton or equal resilient seat (to be anti-explosion decompression type) and surge
suppression diode integrally mounted in enclosure. Open port of solenoid valve shall fitted with a bug screen.
21. Flying leads termination cable are not acceptable for solenoid valve and limit switches.
23. Hydrotest pressure and seat test pressure shall be as per ASME code requirement.
24. Vendor shall verify all sizing calculations to confirm datasheets, selection and shall conform with his quotation. Vendor is responsible to confirm that the
specified pneumatic ON/OFF valve will operate satisfactorily for the given service conditions.
25. Stroke time should not exceed 3 times body size (inches) in seconds or be less than body size (inches) in seconds. Maximum stroke time of any valve is 30 sec.
26. All electrical components shall be suitable for hazardous area with ingress protection IP 65 (min).
27. All Actuated ON/OFF Valve assemblies (valve, actuator, solenoid valve, air pressure regulator and valve position switches) shall be SIL- 2 certified.
28. The Valves above 25Kgs shall be provided with eye bolts as per the requirements for site handling.
29. Valve actuators assemblies shall be equipped with adjustable controls to regulate their stroking speed.
31. All ball valves over 2” shall incorporate anti-static feature ensuring electrical continuity between ball, stem and body.
32. Actuator colour coding shall be fail open valve-Green and fail close valve-Red.
33. All Casting & Welding shall be 100% Radio graphed.
35. Stem for ball valves shall be anti-blowout type and for floating ball valves, seat spring shall be provided.
36. Other auxiliary devices such as air lock relay, pilot relay, booster relay volume tank etc. shall be provided as parts of the actuating system in order to achieve
the required stroke-speed, fail safe action.

Notes:

3. MOV shall be designed to be immune to radio frequency & electromagnetic interference with field strength of 15 volts/meter or
less over frequency range of 50 hz to 450 mhz.
4. Motor & control system shall be provided with lightning protection circuits (galvanic isolation via transformer) and shall be
designed and manufactured to operate in 100% or above RH environment.
5. The motor shall be able to operate the actuator at 75% of rated voltage.
6. MOV Actuator operating with AC power supply shall be provided with Phase instantaneous reversal protection.
7. The actuator shall be provided with maximum three adequately sized cable entries viz, one for power cable and two for control cables.
8. Certification for use in Hazardous Area:
(a) VENDOR / SUPPLIER to submit approval certification from CMRI for items manufactured in India.
(b) Certificates from statutory authorities like FM, CSA, UL, CENELEC & ATEX, etc. for items
9. Manual override and handwheel arrangement shall be provided to manually open and close the valve.
10. The MOV actuator shall have an integral control unit, motor starter, control gear, spring-return open/ close push button.
11. Local status indications shall be provided for MOV Open/Close position. Additionally, contacts shall be provided for remote status indication of MOV
Open/Close position.
12. Painting shall be as per Protective Coating specification for Onshore Structures and Facilities.
13. Cable glands shall be double compression explosion proof type made of nickel plated brass, certified for area classification
ZONE 1, GAS GROUP-IIA / IIB, TEMP.CL T3 in case of hazard area, and have an ingress protection of IP65.
14. Local Control Panel is required for Open & close operation & OFF selector switch on MOV actuator. Pull & Push type is required in LCP for open / close.
15. Spare cable entry shall be plugged with Ex'd' certified plug. All cable glands shall be Nickel-plated Brass.
16. The Valves above 25Kgs shall be provided with eye bolts as per requirement for site handling.
17. All MOV Shall be as per API 6D Ball Valve, split body and Floating Ball fro size upto 4" and Trunnion Mounted Ball for size 6" and above.
18. Vendor shall propose the type of cable between Motor Operated Valve to Local control panel and motor control station to MOV.
19. The switches shall be provided with requisite number of potential-free contacts for valve actuator operation and for indication on remote panels.
20. Cable details for 2-wire communication and cable between LCP to MOV shall be provided by VENDOR.
21. 2-Wire Digital Communication With hardwiring feature shall be provided.
22. The motor shall be designed for valve actuator service with high starting torque and shall be suitable for direct on-line starting.
23. The motor shall be provided with thermostat(s)/ thermister(s)/ embedded in the hot spots of motor winding for protecting the motor.
24. The MOV Actuators shall be provided with ‘K-Mass’ type or equivalent fireproofing and the fireproofing shall be rated be rated for 30 minutes.
25. MOV Push button shall be outside the Dyke Area.
26. MOV shall have Open & Close Remote operation from Control room and at Field just outside the Dyke.

1 The upstream side of the orifice plate tab handle shall be permanently marked “UPSTREAM”.
2 The downstream side of the orifice plate tab handle shall be permanently marked Instrument tag number,Orifice bore diameter in mm,
Line size ( in mm ) and flange rating( in ANSI ),Plate material.
3 Orifice Flanges shall be in accordance with ANSI B 16.36 & ANSI class 300 rated as minimum.
4 The beta ratio (d/D) shall be kept in between 0.2 and 0.7.
5 Normal flow rates shall be calculated in such a way that its value is approximately 70% to 80% of design flow.
6 Orifice plate for ring-type joint flanges shall be supplied with plate carrying holders.
7 Orifice plates shall be bored for the maximum flow that will give an even meter factor or Meter max.
8 Each flange shall have two pressure taps to facilitate ease of installation. One of the pressure taps shall be provided with 1/2" NPTM plug.
9 The given minimum flowrate is based on 30% turndown of normal flowrate.
10 Design life of all instruments shall be 20 years.
11 Minimum, normal and maximum ambient temperaures are 8°C, 28°C & 38°C.
12 Flow element sizing calculation shall be as per ISO 5167. For gas measurements, the sizing and Installation shall beAGA 3 /AGA 8 report.
13 Orifice assembly shall include supply of plates, flanges, stud, bolts, nuts, jack screw, gasket / plate, holder & plugs.
14 All stud bolt material shall be Zinc coated (hot dipped) according to ASTM A153.

Notes:
1. Documentation required :- Calibration Certificate , Ingress Protection Certificate, Material Certificates to 3.1 as per EN 10204, Hydro test , Explosion proof & weather
proof certificate, Pressure test Procedure/Report , Operating & Maintenance Instructions & Spare Parts List.
2. All instruments to be supplied with a SS 316 Name plate with Tag no. permanently inscribed. Tags shall be Permanently secured.
3. All transmitters shall be provided with integral indicator (LCD type) with engineering unit indication.
4. Instrumentation shall meet the Electromagnetic interference requirements according to EN 50081-2 and EN 50082-2.
5. All the electrical cables on the transmitters and sensors terminate to terminal blocks,flying leads are not allowed.
6. All fastners including stud-bolts and nuts material shall be A193Gr.B7M / A194Gr.2HM with Zinc coated (hot dipped) according to ASTM A153.
6. Flange finish shall be in accordance with ANSI B16.5, for Raised Face (RF) flanges and shall be smooth finish to 125-250 AARH.
7. The housing of all transmitters shall be SS 316 minimum.
8. Transmitter shall be provided with two(2) cable entry of size 1/2" NPT(F). Unused cable entries shall be plugged with ex-proof SS certified plugs.
9. The over-range/static pressure protection of the transmitter shall be 130% of range.
10. Calibration and test certificate to be provided for each instrument.
11. The flow direction shall be clearly stamped or cast on the body to avoid polarity errors.
12. Meter shall have forward & reverse measurement functions and reverse flow shall be confirmed by status output / indication.
13. The Electro-Magnetic Meter’s field coils shall be hermetically sealed. Coil insulation shall be class F suitable for high temperature. Suitable grounding type system
and material shall be selected for the meter.
14. Vendor shall indicate the power supply requirements and furnish the power consumption for the meter (sensor, transmitter, display, etc.) along with
the sizing calculations for the selected meter.
15. Standard Signal types and communication protocols shall be offered. Appropriate EMI / RFI protection for the meter shall be considered.
16. Bolted coil housing with rubber or plastic gaskets is not acceptable.
17. Tube liners shall be selected to meet the process requirement and shall be proven for the application.

Notes:
1. Documentation required :- Calibration Certificate , Material Certificates to 3.1 as per EN 10204, Hydro test ,
Pressure test Procedure/Report , Operating & Maintenance Instructions & Spare Parts List.
2. Vendor shall supply spare parts for start-up and commissioning, a list of recommended spare parts for 2 years operation & performance warranty.
3. Level Gauges shall be Hydrotested to 1.5 times the process design pressure by the manufacturer prior to shipment.
4. Flange finish shall be in accordance with ANSI B16.5, for Raised Face (RF) flanges and shall be smooth finish to 125-250 AARH and 63 AARH for Ring type joint (RTJ) .
5. Painting shall be as per Protective Coating specification for Onshore Structures and Facilities.
6. Flange connection shall be in accordance with ASME B16.5
7. The external chamber shall be designed and constructed to ASME B31.3
8. All chambers shall be weld-necked type, flanges with raise face and gasket surface finishes shall be in accordance with ASME B16.5.
9. All Level Gauges shall be supplied complete with stainless steel 316 nameplate affixed to the body. Tags shall be Permanently secured. The following information shall be
shown on the name plates as a minimum:manufacturers name & trade mark, type, model no & serial no, Instrument Tag.No, moc, service/ fluid, c-c distance and visible length,
pressure and temperature rating of pressurized parts.

Notes:
1. Documentation required :- Calibration Certificate , Ingress Protection Certificate, Material Certificates to 3.1 as per EN 10204, Hydro test , Explosion proof & weather
proof certificate, Pressure test Procedure/Report , SIL 2 Certificate, Operating & Maintenance Instructions & Spare Parts List.
2. All instruments to be supplied with a SS 316 Name plate with Tag no. permanently inscribed. Tags shall be Permanently secured.
3. All transmitters shall be provided with integral indicator (LCD type) with engineering unit indication.
4. Instrumentation shall meet the Electromagnetic interference requirements according to EN 50081-2 and EN 50082-2.
5. All field transmitters shall be" SMART" type, 2-wire 24VDC loop powered communicating on 4-20mA signal mode with superimposed HART digital transmission
signal for remote calibration and diagnostics from HART maintenance system.
6. Flange finish shall be in accordance with ANSI B16.5, for Raised Face (RF) flanges and shall be smooth finish to 125-250 AARH and 63 AARH for Ring type joint (RTJ) .
7. The housing of all transmitters shall be SS 316 minimum.
8. The element head shall have 2 cable entries, one of which shall be fitted with a certified plug.
9. All Transmitters shall be provided with SIL-2 (min) certification.
10. The over-range/static pressure protection of the transmitter shall be 130% of range.

1. Documentation required :- Calibration certificate,Material certificates to 3.1 as per EN10204, weather proof to IP65 certificate by ATEX or Equivalent body,
Pressure test procedure/Report, NDT procedure / Report, Operating and Maintenance Instructions & Spare Parts List.
2. Coriolis flow meter shall be provided with 1 mm thick, 30mm x 75mm SS 316 tag plate, inscribed with tag number engraved or embossed
in 5mm high and 0.3mm deep bold characters and black paint filled. The tags shall be mounted on or adjacent to the associated
instrument and either fixed with stainless steel screws or attached with stainless steel wire.
3. Coriolis meters shall be designed to ISO 10790.
4. All stud bolt material shall be ASTM A 193 Gr. B7 / ASME B16.5 (Hot dip galvanized).
5. The Coriolis Meter shall be provided with a local LCD display with Engineering unit indication.
6. Instrument shall meet the Electromagnetic Interference requirements to EN50082-2 / IEC 60533.
7. All weldings and castings (if any) shall be 100% radiographed.
8. Any special cable between the sensor transmitter & receiver electronics to be provided by flow meter vendor.
9. Transmitter shall be provided with dual cable entries. Unused cable entries shall be provided with explosion proof plugs of SS 316.
10. Coriolis meter shall be Ex"ia" in accordance with IEC 60079. In the event of Ex"ia" is not available or cannot be used then Ex"d" type of
protection shall be used and notified to the buyer for approval.
11. Mass flow meters shall be of Coriolis - two tube design.
12. Coriolis Mass Flow Meter shall be of in-line mounting design with flow direction clearly marked on the flow tube body to ensure
proper installation.
13. Flanged end connection and Flange face finish of the Coriolis Mass Flow Meter shall be as per ASME B 16.5.
14. Meter body shall be hydrostatically tested as per requirement specified in relevant clause of ASME F 423.

2 All control valves to be supplied with SS 316 Name plate with Tag no. and details engraved .The tag plate shall be permanently secured.
3 Control valve sizing shall be as per ISA-75.01.
4 Flange finish shall be in accordance with relevant piping class and ANSI B16.5, for Raised Face (RF) flanges and shall be smooth finish to 125-250AARH .
5 Valve positioner shall be" SMART" type, 2-wire 24VDC loop powered communicating on 4-20mA signal mode with superimposed HART digital transmission signal.
6 The air filter regulator shall be provided with manual drainage facility, an integral pressure gauage and suitable for the design pressure, materials of construction
for body, spring case and bowl shall be SS316.
7 All Casting valve body and bonnet shall be 100% Radio graphed.
8 Valve bonnet shall have fully retained gasket.
9 The direction of flow through a valve shall be permanently marked on the body in the form of a casting stamping or permanently fixed “arrow” plate.
10 The Valves above 25Kgs shall be provided with eye bolts as per requirement for site handling.
11 The size of control valve shall be calculated from the rates of flow and pressure drops under design conditions.
12 All positioners shall be capable of both direct and reverse action and the design shall allow easy reversal in the field.
13 All positioner shall be supplied with two Pressure gauges for air supply pressure indication and regulator signal pressure indication.
14 The control valve shall be suitable for installation in horizondal as well in vertical lines.
15 Vendor shall examine each control valve for noise generation posibilities. The noise level shall be calculated as per ISA 75.17 or any other equivalent standard
16 Control valves shall meet design pressure and temperature ratings as indicated in the manual valve data sheet.
17 Actuator spring shall be corrosion reistant and shall be cadmium or nickel plated. Alternately vendor standard coating shall also be acceptable These shall be of the
enclosed type. The compression of the springs shall be adjustable.
18 Valve stem position indicator shall be provided for every control valve. The position indicator scale shall be marked from 0 to 100% in steps of 10%.
19 The hand wheel actuator shall be sized to provide the required thrust for valve positioning with 178N force applied to the hand wheel.
20 The valve actuator colour shall be Fail close valve - Red RAL colour 3000 and Fail open valve – Green RAL colour 6002.
21 Valve packing containing asbestos in any form is strictly prohibited
22 Actuator housing material shall be steel or anodised aluminium.
23 All brackets, fixings and fittings shall be constructed from 316 SS.
24 All valves shall be subject to NDE/NDT in accordance with ASME B16.34
25 Design life shall be 20 years.
26 Minimum, normal and maximum ambient temperature are 20°C, 26°C and 30°C.
27 Painting shall be as per Protective Coating specification for Onshore Structures and Facilities.

2. All Instruments to be supplied with SS316 name plate with tag no. permanently inscribed. Tags shall be permanently
secured.
4. All stud bolt and nut material shall be ASTM A193 Gr. B7M & Heavy hex nuts shall be ASTM A194 Gr. 2HM.
5. Painting shall be as per Protective Coating specification for Onshore Structures and Facilities.
7. Carbon steel springs with Nickel plating shall be used for temperature services lower than 250 Deg C.

Notes:
1. Documentation required :- Calibration Certificate , Ingress Protection Certificate, Material Certificates to 3.1 as per EN 10204, Hydro test ,
operating & Maintenance Instructions & Spare Parts List.
2. All instruments to be supplied with a SS 316 Name plate with Tag no. permanently inscribed. Tags shall be Permanently secured.
4. Orientation of the actuator will be along the pipe axis.
5. Valve body thickness shall be as per ASME B16.34 plus C.A.
6. All instrument painting shall be as per Painting Specification
7. All fastners including stud-bolts and nuts material shall be ASTM A193 Gr. B7/B7M & Heavy hex nuts shall be ASTM A194 Gr. 2H/2HM
with Zinc coated ( hot dipped ) according to ASME B16.5.
8. Air Filter Regulators shall be provided with manual drainage facility, an integral pressure gauge calibrated in barg. Body material shall be
SS316 and filter element is 5 micron size.
9. Flange finish shall be in accordance with ASNI B16.5, for Raised Face (RF) flanges and shall be smooth finish to 125-250 AARH
10. All actuator valves accessories like solenoid valve, filter regulator, etc. shall be mounted on the valve actuator and tubed by vendor
using bright annealed SS316 (ASTM A269) tubing, tube size shall be 10mm O.D. X 1mm W.T.minimum. All tube fittings shall be imperial
and 316 SS double compression type, SWAGELOK.
11. All components such as air filter regulators, limit switches, solenoid valve shall be factory mounted, tubed / wired in completely assemble
condition and bolted to a SS 316 mounting plate which is fixed to a support with SS316 bolts.
13. Spare cable entry shall be plugged with SS316 Ex'd' certified plug.
14. Actuator to be sized for maximum pressure drop equal to the valve design pressure with minimum instrument air supply pressure (5.5 barg).
15. Actuator shall be sized for 1.5 times the required seating torque of the valve when the valve is closed against maximum differential pressure.
16. Actuator shall be supplied with a pressure relief valve to protect the actuator from overpressure if the actuator design pressure is lower
than the maximum instrument air pressure indicated in the datasheet.
17. The valve stem and linkage mechanism shall be consistance with actuator torque characteristic. The maximum torque developed by actuator shall not exceed that
which can be safely sustained by the valve stem. Valve stem or shaft and its trim shall be of blowout proof design and be capable of withstanding the maximum
actuator torque/thrust.
18. The mounting of the actuator shall be suitable for supporting the actuator without external attachments and shall be capable of
resisting actuator's maximum torque force.
19. Limit switches shall be supplied with hermetically sealed NAMUR Inductive proximity switches.
All valves shall be provided with an integral open/close mechanical position indicator(yellow/black) which shall be clearly visible from all angles.
20. Solenoid valve shall have SS 316 body, trim with viton or equal resilient seat (to be anti-explosion decompression type) and surge
suppression diode integrally mounted in enclosure. Open port of solenoid valve shall fitted with a bug screen.
All valves shall be provided with an integral open/close mechanical position indicator(yellow/black) which shall be clearly visible from all angles.
20. Solenoid valve shall have SS 316 body, trim with viton or equal resilient seat (to be anti-explosion decompression type) and surge
suppression diode integrally mounted in enclosure. Open port of solenoid valve shall fitted with a bug screen.
21. Flying leads termination cable are not acceptable for solenoid valve and limit switches.
23. Hydrotest pressure and seat test pressure shall be as per ASME code requirement.
24. Vendor shall verify all sizing calculations to confirm datasheets, selection and shall conform with his quotation. Vendor is responsible to confirm that the
specified pneumatic ON/OFF valve will operate satisfactorily for the given service conditions.
25. Stroke time should not exceed 3 times body size (inches) in seconds or be less than body size (inches) in seconds. Maximum stroke time of any valve is 30 sec.
26. All electrical components shall be suitable for hazardous area with ingress protection IP 65 (min).
27. All Actuated ON/OFF Valve assemblies (valve, actuator, solenoid valve, air pressure regulator and valve position switches) shall be SIL- 2 certified.
28. The Valves above 25Kgs shall be provided with eye bolts as per the requirements for site handling.
29. Valve actuators assemblies shall be equipped with adjustable controls to regulate their stroking speed.
30. All ball valves over 2” shall incorporate anti-static feature ensuring electrical continuity between ball, stem and body.
31. Actuator colour coding shall be fail open valve-Green and fail close valve-Red.
32. All Casting & Welding shall be 100% Radio graphed.
34. Stem for ball valves shall be anti-blowout type and for floating ball valves, seat spring shall be provided.
35. Other auxiliary devices such as air lock relay, pilot relay, booster relay volume tank etc. shall be provided as parts of the actuating system in order to achieve
the required stroke-speed, fail safe action.
