The story focused on his
point-of-view.
He underwent an absurd
transformation – he become
a big insect.
He suffered from alienation.
He was self-less but end up
neglected by his family.

Grete is the first one to help
Gregor dealing with his
transformation, such as
providing his needs like
foods.
However, she’s also the first
one to say to that their family
would be better without
Gregor in their lives, which
made him feel neglected.

Mr. Samsa is the reason of
Gregor’s sufferings during his
transformation.
He becomes violent towards
him because he was
disgusted to see his son’s
new appearance.

Mrs. Samsa is the one who
protects Gregor from violence
despite of being terrified of
him.
