The tunnel of "The Line" and seven other construction works were put into
service.
It is without a doubt the most important event in Colombian infrastructure in
recent years. It allows vehicles to drive through the 8.6 km underground way
on the border between Tolima and Quindio. The construction work covers
an 8.5 kilometer main tunnel, 24 bridges and another 20 tunnels of different
lengths, it is expected to be completed in April 2021.
