36 How to search and amend the reservation

How to search for a reservation Note: It is advisable that you


search for something unique
A reservation can be searched using one of the following criteria’s like the last name plus arrival
date.
• First / Last Name
• Company, Source, Tour Operator and Group Initial searches could be

In case the reservation is not found using the above criteria an advance
search could be done using the below criteria. All amendments are to be
• Room type / Room number uploaded in OnBase.
• Rate code
• Reservation Type
• Market code / Source code
• Stay Date / created On
• Reservation status
• Cancellation number
• Complimentary / VIP level

Reservations can be searched for using any one or a combination of the


above criteria.

Once the reservation has been found and there is a request to amend this
reservation the necessary changes will be made accordingly.

The amendment could be requested on the dates, names, rates etc.

Once the necessary amendment has been made the changes need to be
saved and the amendment request will need to be saved in OnBase.

Involvement: This SOP applies to all Reservations staff and Front Office colleagues using the PMS.
