Where are you from? Cape Town,South Africa
How long have you been an Au pair? 2 years, 1 year The Netherlands and
currently doing 1 year in Belgium
Biggest cultural shock? My biggest culture shock was the lifestyle and just
the overall character of Belgium and Dutch people 
How many children do you have? I had 2 in The Netherlands and now 3 in
Belgium  
Favorite place you have visited so far? Milan  in Italy, Ibiza in Spain and
Paris in France 
Best experience so far: My best experience thus far is the fact that I can
take a bus when I want and not be afraid of coming home late and walking

like, alone.  
What have you learned about yourself from being an Au pair?  I’ve learnt

share that every culture is different, as the saying goes don't paint everything
and everyone with the same brush. We all are unique and special in our

& own way. 

 What would your advice be to girls who want to Au Pair?

tag 3.  I would say; before stepping on to that plane, before sending through your

documents,  be sure of what you want and what you want to achieve. Be
open to change and you will be having the best time ever!
