NCCA ASSISTANCE FOR FREELANCE MUSICIANS

Criteria for assistance from the NCCA PhP3,000,000.00 fund for free-lance musicians

 Number of beneficiaries and breakdown, amount to be received

1. 600 beneficiaries to be given PhP5000.00 each

2. 32 beneficiaries for each of the 16 regions outside of NCR

3. 88 beneficiaries for NCR

 Qualification of applicant

1. An expert or professional in a particular music discipline, such as

instrumentalist, singer, music educator, instrument maker, musical director,
composer, arranger

2. Freelancer, preferably breadwinner and/or senior citizen

3. No other source of income because of lockdown

4. Must not have been a cash beneficiary of TUPAD of Department of Labor and
Employment (DOLE), SAP of Department of Social Welfare and Development
(DSWD), Artist Welfare of the Philippine, Inc. (AWPI), NCCA Assistance
Program, and DEAR of the Film Development Council of the Philippines
(FDCP), and the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP).

 Documents to be submitted

1. Accomplished request form with photo of ID

2. Declaration of Recipient: First time grantee (see attached form)

 Request form to be filled up may be obtained from committee members (see

attached form)

 Deadline for submission of requests: Friday, 8 May 2020
