I will never allow myself to know nothing.

– Aquino, 2020

I still remember the day when I first talk to you in person. I am trembling with fear
and excitement because I know that you are the most respected person in the
department. It is not just because of the title that you have but also because of your
accomplishments, dedication to teaching, and your hunger for new learning. By the
time that you started talking, my trembling stops and I just felt so comfortable all
of a sudden. I guess your voice truly has the power of a leader that can calm a
person whenever they hear you talking. I still remember the exact same words that
you have said that time “Hindi ako papayag na wala akong alam, kayo papayag ba
kayo na wala kayong alam?” and those words really make a big impact on my life.
You told me how important learning is and you also prove to me that the words of
a teacher affect the action of the student which leads me to the realization that
teaching is really a noble profession. You also serve as a representation of a
teacher, who is not just smart and hardworking, but also a friend and a mother to
all of the students. When Nelson Mandela stated that “Education is the most
powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” then those passionate
teachers like you is the one who’s born to wield that weapon and teach that to the
youth. Now, as one of your student and on behalf of all the students in the College
of Teacher Education Department, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you
how much we appreciate all your efforts and sacrifices. Happy teacher’s day
Ma’am, I wish that we can see each other again after this pandemic and I’m
looking forward to learning more stuff from you. Thank you ma’am the whole
College of Teacher Education Department love and adore you.
