Subject: Request for giving re-exam of 1st mid-term of 6th Semester

Dear Madam,

With due respect I like to lay before you the fact that I am a regular student of the Department of
Finance and currently in 3rd year, 6th Semester. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sit for two of the exams-
for course F-307 and F-308- in the 1st mid-term that took place from 15th of September to 19th of
September. My mom became seriously ill in the night of my F-307 exam and some unfortunate
mishap occurred with my family. As I had no one other to take care of my mom that time, I had
to manage to stay beside her during the date of my two of those exams. Since I was absent in two
of those exams and each course carries 15 marks, meaning three grades, it will have a very
unfavorable effect on my academic results if I am not allowed to take the re-exam of 1 st mid-
term.

In the circumstances stated above, I pray and hope that your honor would be kind enough to
allow me to sit for the exam and help me not to dismantle my academic results which is an
indispensable part of my future career. I would be very grateful to you if you please consider me
this time.
