Online Payment is Activated

1. Online payment method is now available for students who are applying for semester 1, 3 and 5 examinations.
2. Please read the instructions given below before proceeding to the online payment gateway

Instructions for online payments

Select the online payment method in the payment section of the application.

You will be directed to a payment summary page where you need to confirm the
information mentioned.
Once you confirm the payment summary you will be redirected to the online payment
gateway.
You need the fill out the Credit/ Debit card information accurately on the given fields
Once the information is submitted, a six-digit OTP will be sent to the mobile number
registered for the Credit or Debit Card.
Enter the OTP in the relevant field and complete the payment.
Once the payment is successful, the system will allow you to download the exam
application.

3. There will be no additional charge when you pay through online system. You will be charged only the examination
fees relevant for the semester which you apply.
4. Please note that once the payment is selected it cannot be reversed.
5. Please note that, if you are applying for more than one semester examinations (i.e.: Sem 1 or/and Sem 3 or/and Sem 5),
separate examination applications have to be filled. Examinations fees also have to be paid with separate bank vouchers for
each semester examination.
6. Deadline for submitting the Semester Examination Applications is 09th September 2020
7. Duly filled printed and signed Examination Application Form and the EDC copy of the payment voucher (for online
payments no voucher is needed) should be sent by post or hand delivered to the b e l o w a d d r e s s , Assistant
Registrar, External Degrees Centre, University of Colombo School of Computing, No. 35, Reid Avenue, Colombo
00700 on or before the closing date.
8. Please mention "BIT-Exams 2020-Sem 1/3/5" on the top left corner of the envelope containing the Exam Application
Form.
9. For all the payments done after the deadline, a surcharge fee will be added. Please note that, the surcharge fee is
double the relevant fee.
Students who fail to renew their 2020 year registration on or before the given deadlines, are not allowed to apply for the semester
examinations, enhancement examinations, online assessments or project evaluations.
Admission Cards will be published before two weeks of the examinations. Please be aware that, the admission cards will not be
sent by post. Admission Cards will be sent to your VLE and you are required to download it and get it attested before you come
to the examinations.
