AS1

The AS1 is a compact active subwoofer, designed

to provide deep bass extension in home theatre
and hi-fi applications that incorporate the other
speakers in the B&W Leisure Monitor range, the
VM1, LM1, and M1. Despite its muscular 85 watts
the AS1 is compact enough to take up a discreet,
out-of-the-way position on the floor of the typical
livingroom. It includes B&W’s Flowport and a
music/movie switch that modifies the subwoofer’s
output to precisely fit the demands of each type of
material. The AS1’s controls are easily accessible,
being located on the top panel, rather than hidden
at the rear.
