KAMAZ commercial vehicles demonstrate high

performance owing to up-to-date component base.
Content of a modern KAMAZ commercial vehicle is
a result of hard work of design engineers and fruitful
cooperation with manufacturers reputable across the
world as well.
In order to develop component base, the following
joint ventures have been created:
“ZF KAMA”—ZF transmission gearboxes production;
“CUMMINS KAMA” — Cummins engines production;
“KNORR-BREMSE KAMA” — Knorr-Bremse brake
gears production;
“FEDERAL-MOGUL NABEREZHNYE CHELNY” —
cylinder-piston group components production. All this
allows the company to enhance KAMAZ vehicles up
to level of world motor industry leaders.

Cargo vehicles
Range of KAMAZ products covers wide spectrum

of commercial vehicles from city delivery trucks to
increased carrying capacity trucks which are to be
used as part of road-train with gross weight being up
to 120 tons. Adding to diesel engine vehicles, CNG
(compressed natural gas), LNG (liquefied natural gas)
methane-powered vehicles are offered.
Model numbers are accompanied by designations
like C1218, К3340, Т2426, В2732, М1840. Letters
designate purpose (С – delivery and medium-duty
vehicles; В – all-terrain vehicles; Т – transport vehicles;
К – heavy vehicles; М – long-distance vehicles), then
two figures - gross weight in tons, the last two figures
- engine capacity in horses divided by 10.
Wheel arrangement common designation (4x2, 4x4,
6x4, 6x6, 8x4, 8x8) has been added with designation
of all-wheel drive with single-tyre wheel per semiaxle:
4х4.1, 6х6.1, 8х8.1 as well as 6x2-2 - meaning 6x2 with
the last lifting axle.
Curb Weights and loads are universally indicated for
chassis / tractor unit filled with fuel and process liquids
and with a driver weighing 75 kg.
