REFLECTION ON LPU MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT AND CORE VALUES

In the vision of Lyceum of the Philippines, they write about being an internationally accredited university
dedicated to innovation and excellence in the service of God and Country. And their mission is to advance and
preserve knowledge, to provide equitable access to learning, provide necessary knowledge and skill, establish local
and international linkages, support a sustainable community extension program, and build a community of God-
centered and nationalistic environment. Their core values also teach us about the love of God, to have professional
integrity, to be united, to be nationalism, to have justice, to be perseverance, and to have leadership.

The school’s vision, mission, and core values are very important parts of the development. When I first
read about the vision it gave me an impression that this university has a clear idea of what they like to become in the
future. LPU’s mission set as a guide in which the educational curriculum should be aligned. Our university really
provides opportunity to their students explore and discover in learning. They also help the students to exercise their
knowledge in performing tasks.

The school really show that they implement their vision, mission and core value well. The core value can
be seen on how their students behave inside the school, the way they socialized with the people around the way they
fulfill their responsibilities as a citizen, student and a children to their parents.
