For and on behalf of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, the Superintending Engineer
(H), C&M, Trichy Circle invites Scheduled Tender under two cover system through
online only for the work as detailed below in the table.

The Scope of work includes the following.

kms.(15.00m to 21.00 m),

12.80 kms.(5.50m to 10.50 m), Thanjavur
 40.660 kms are taken up for improvements. Division.
 Construction of 2 Nos of Major bridges
 Widening of 12 Minor Bridges.
 Widening of 31 slab culverts.
 Construction of 257 pre cast box culverts and 5 pipe
culverts.
 Construction of covered RCC drain 13775 m.
 Construction of covered PCC drain 30680 m.
 Construction of RCC retaining walls 2645 m.
 Construction of PCC retaining walls 44010m.
 Construction of crash barrier type RCC Centre
medians 58405 m, Road Furniture provision to all
the roads in the aspect of road safety measures.
 Ecological Improvements (Plantation of Avenue
Trees 18489Nos and maintenance).
Notes:
1) Tender Documents are available in online in the Government website
https://tntenders.gov.in and it can be downloaded at free of cost up to
20.07.2020, 15.00 Hrs (as per server system clock).
2) The bidder should be registered Class I contractor in Tamilnadu Highways
Department with Digital Signature Certificates and contractor renewal certificate.
3) Bids must be submitted through Online up to 20.07.2020, 15.00 Hrs (as per
server system clock).
4) Bid must be accompanied with scanned copy of EMD (Bid Security) pertaining to
the works as per the above table in the prescribed form drawn in favour of the
Divisional Engineer (H), C&M Thanjavur Division.
5) A Pre-Bid meeting for the bidders shall be conducted on 24.06.2020 at 11.00 Am in
the office of the Superintending Engineer, (H) C&M, Trichy.
6) The original EMD and all other original / attested technical bid document as
uploaded shall be received by the Superintending Engineer (H), C&M, Trichy
Circle on or before 20.07.2020, 15.00 Hrs failing which, the bid shall be
summarily rejected.
7) The technical cover containing EMD and Pre-qualification documents as prescribed
in the tender documents received through “ONLINE” only shall be opened at 11.00
Hrs on 22.07.2020 in the Office of the Superintending Engineer (H), C&M Trichy
Circle.
8) The financial cover containing Price bid document of qualified bidders in the
prequalification only will be opened on a later date with due intimation to them.
9) Corrigendum if any, it will be available only in the above website.
10) The contractor should produce the documents for own possession of sufficient
Plants & Machineries and obtain certificate from competent authorizes as specified
in the tender documents for working condition of the Plants & Machineries to
complete the work in time with quality.
11) The work should be executed by using sensor paver finisher upto 9.00m width.
